Vikings Sports Club reviews
26The staff are always friendly, the food is always good, the club always has availably parking and the prices are reasonable. What more could one ask for?
Our first time at the club for an event.
The venue is nice, well kept and presented.
Bar service was slow for how many patrons were about.
All went well with lunch order, schnitzel was tasteless - was oily so no other flavour was apparent.
When waiting for coffee and cake our buzzer never went off and when I approached the counter 25 minutes later I saw that our order had been sitting there but we hadn’t been notified (buzzer) when I asked if our order was ready the staff member apologised and advised it was and pointed to our order.
The hot drinks were too full, when taking them they spilled everywhere and made a mess.
Great venue and the staff are excellent ambassadors for the club.
Also the food is good value and I recommend this place highly.
Great little club, we had our sons 2nd birthday there and it was great having the little vikings play area for toddlers and some arcade games for even the older kids (including adults)
Definitely a club we will be visiting more often! Thank you to the staff members who made the day so effortless!
Good for visits on weekends, meet nee people and enjoy your personal time playing games and having some chill time.
Great place for small kids. Nice staff food was good drinks well priced. Clean and today nice environment
We recently celebrated a family reunion at Vikings. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will return again.
Good place to go with kids. Foods are good especially since reopen after lockdown. Will definitely come back!
When you stop off to have a nice feed and get served pet food instead.
Menu says 'Large crumbed calamari'.
The sauce packet is bigger then the processed fake food they call calamari.
Would definitely recommend people eat at maccas.
The food is good value & it has a great area for kids. We have a toddler who loves the little play gym. This area makes it very easy to enjoy a meal as a family as once my baby is finished eating, she can get up and have a play while we finish our meal. Lovely staff each time we've gone as well. The check in man at the top of the stairs (sorry not sure of his name) has always been very lovely and polite each time we have come - thanks!
Good deals great value Andy son likes the playground, gives us some free time to hubby and me to enjoy our meal
Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money.
Regularly go there for a cheap but tasty dinner out.
Great club for families though needs a parent's room. Cheap and very tasty food and an excellent play area
We went there for lunch today with my family as it seemed to have a lot of positive recent reviews, but sadly we were disappointed. The place itself is nice (easy parking, two kids play areas, arcade games, and tables near the play areas), and the lady at the front desk was also cheerful and friendly, but unfortunately that's where the positives stop. From our table, just one person seemed to like their food (a salad), but everyone else it was either average or below average. We can handle average food, but what made me give this place a 1 star is the "I really don't want to be here" attitude that most staff seemed to have. It really felt like the customer is a pest there. For example, the lady was serving me a beer and as she was finishing up, my wife came to talk to me and because I didn't turn around fast enough to pay for the drinks, the lady said "hello, hello, you're holding up the queue" in an unpleasant tone. This is the sort of attitude that seemed to flow through other staff (not all, but most). Don't think we'll be coming here again and certainly not recommending it.
Great Club. Fantastic kids play room but expect to be handing money over to the kids to play the claw games. Quality food at great prices. Recommend for an easy family night
Lovely place and beautiful surroundings. I accendentaly gave 3 stars and the management replied immediately and asked how they could improve my experience.
I wanted to change my previous review.
I went to the club very very late night.
I had found out bad news about my spine yesterday that I may have to have a fourth surgery after 3 failed previous ones. Then I found out last night my friend died. I needed to get out of house so I went to the club for a while to have a couple of beers till close.
The lady behind the bar and the gentleman at the door (I am so sorry I didn’t get names) were so tremendously lovely and supportive and kind.
THANK YOU
Old school values and a tough footy side alike. The food was good. The pizza was good and the burger also. Everyone seemed to be enjoying what they were eating and the drinks were very cheap. Under seven dollars for a schooner of coke and a bottle of diet Coke. The staff were great and the place had a very convenient layout with a quaint view from the balcony. Small pokie area (barely recognisable). And good family orientation. Don't expect the Ritz. It's a local club that deserves five stars because I can't say anything bad.
Chicken schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, chicken schnitzel. If you choose anything else you are on your own.
We have had 6 kids birthday parties here for the last few years. The service staff are second to none. Never had a bad experience here.
The party menu is good, large selection of pizza. Beers and wines are cheaper than most pubs in Sydney.
