Victoria's Basement reviews
62There is a staff lady there that's always so bossy and makes me feel very uncomfortable. Is she the store manager? She's rude with the customers. When I was shopping there she was telling off a customer in a loud voice, this isn't the first occurrence.
Very bad customer service. Run by staff that don't know what to do. No going their any more
I live in Lidcome so literally 5 mins to get where I get all birthday and Christmas presents for my be loved and also I won’t forget for my kitchen. They have amazing discounts and very high quality stuff with beautiful designs…just loving it!?
The Auburn is the best, more varieties and you can find great prices!
The security guard at the time of writing this review put me on the wrong foot over regarding available parking. Customer service needs work. Love you Amazon. People ask why retail is dieing?
Big store with good variety of dinner and cook ware. Prices are generally very competitive
A mega shop with so many items & affordable prices & always with countless specials
A variety of things for the Kitchen. Pots, Pans, Crockery, Cutlery, Glass Ware, Kitchen Nic Nac's, Chopping & Food Presentation Boards of Various Shapes & Sizes.
They have Pasta & Sauces.
Nuts, Cards & Wrapping Paper & Numerous other things.
Great on a Rainy Day.
Does not Cater for People in Wheelchairs nor, people using Walkers.
Not Suitable for Young CHILDREN, though!
Beautiful shop with large variety of cutlery, dinnerware, cookware, crockery, kitchenware, pans & pots, dryfruts, honey, oils and many more quqlity items available at very affordable price. Must visit place.
Great range of homewares - I liked this store better than the Waterloo one. The selection of mugs was next level. After shopping, one can have post-shopping therapy at the KK's across the road hehe.
Staff were friendly and helpful (from the security at the door to the workers on the floor and behind the counter).
I have bought the Van Gough cups from here (and post them regularly on my socials).

Not bad, good range of kitchenware but not so easy to find. The one in Hills Showground is more organised.
Great place for anything in the kitchen tho you can truly get lost in there, took me a little longer to find the baking section. They have now filled the front area opposite pay counter with food and condiments
Very unpleasant shopping experience. I arrived at 4: 00 p.m. And only after shopping for a while the staff start to clean the carpet using a super noisy vacuum cleaner near the counter. I was wearing on my noise cancelling earphone but still can’t bear the noise so I left. Now my ear still hears. Why can’t you do the cleaning after the store closed?
Jam packed with homewares/ cooking utensils/ cookware/Bakeware and gourmet food.
If you need a gift this is the place to get it. Parking at the back too.
Wish I had been there before. Its a warehouse so you can get a little lost but everything was shelved and signed. Customer service at the counter was good but non existent on the floor. Would absolutely visit again but will go with time on hand to look for myself.
If i could give minus I would. Very unpleasant Davies, Manager, rude and unprofessional to deal with. The girl was great and wanted to help because we always bought it from her. Wanted to exchange bad product and upgrade and spend more money for a suitable product, so that our kids can use it without getting burnt.
Will never shop there again and tell families and friends to do the same.
Lots of other people complain about Davies, without any people skills, customer service or satisfaction.
Shop around, much better price's out there and much better customer service.
At Parramatta Road, everything has changed.
They have now pantry items, near the register.
Also in the cookware section they don't have price listed, so I had to go front of the store to ask multiple times.
If you want a better experience for Victoria basement, Castle Hill is more structured and the staff there are helpful.
Huge selection of kitchen and home decore. Great shopping here instead of their other cramped Sydney sites. Worth the drive and no worries parking!
Not a lot of parking and a little hard to get to. Offers lots of products for cooking at pretty decent prices. Fun to just have a look around.
Worst experience ever! Bad customer service from the Store Manager Davis. Very rude and arrogant, not willing to listen and solve the problem at all. I was not happy with the product and wanted to exchange for different one.
