Victoria Park reviews
33A beautiful green space in the heart of the city. Well maintained lawns and gardens and play equipment. A lovely pond to walk around and dog friendly. Gardener's Lodge is a delightful cafe.
On this date of the Nationally known "Australia Day". We annually meet at Victoria Park, Broadway. Covid19 officially ruined it for 2021.
"Yabun" is the place to be, 26th Jan, 2022.
We still showed up to remember our people's survival.
Always Was, Always Will Be.
Aboriginal Land! [-O-]
Excellent meetup group yesterday! Shared a few bottles of wine and had some food with some great people!
Amazing place for any activities. Kids playground could be better but it is okay. Limited carpark, but Broadway shopping centre is just cross the road.
A largish park with lawn, treed walkways, a lake, and a swimming pool at one end. Numbers of bench seats to sit and contemplate the world. A quite oasis from the busy streets of Broadway and at the top end of Sydney University. Another one of Sydney's gems.
This place has such an atmosphere about it, a great little escape while surrounded by hustle and bustle. A paradigm that works surprisingly better than one would originally think.
The only thing was you weren't allowed to sit on the grass and we're having children that was ridiculous
One of my favourite parks in Sydney. Nice way to relax have a nice coffee, tea and/or snack. Situated opposite to Broadway shopping centre. Walking distance to University of Sydney.
Beautiful park to sit and read or chill and eat lunch. It’s big so you don’t have to see other people if you choose and there’s plenty of trees to sit under. The noise of the city fades into the background and you can truly unwind here.
Since covid, the grass has grown good and proper cause there are no teen festivals crushing the grass constantly. I deducted one star as i got a bindie stuck in my foot one time when it was really dry and I took my thong off.
Just peace, tranquillity & beauty, enhanced by the beautiful sound of children's laughter.
So lovely for an hour or two by yourself, or with a special friend.
Brilliant park for the family and children. Good location. The kind of place that you can lose time. In a good way. Lovely atmosphere.
Biutefull place for parents and kid's it's very pretty pretty. So nice that I can't believe it I'm nature boy what can I say.
This park is like an oasis in the city. Isn't really huge but lovely. If we are trapped in the hustle and bustle of city, we can just sitting in the park seeing various kind of busyness. People walk from work, students from campus, or people from shopping. It's near with Broadway shopping center and universities. I sometimes love to go to Broadway to buy groceries because it's near to where I live. Then, I used to stop at the park to enjoy the afternoon view.
Great park, clean with lots of places to sit and relax. Also there is an awesome outdoor swimming pool in the middle
Had lunch at Gardeners Lodge today and found out they've just opened for two weeks. Process wise they need to sort things out but food when it's finally delivered it's tasty. Coffee is also hot and flavoursome. It's a vegan restaurant and I am not vegan. I found the dishes we ordered very palatable for every kind of diet preference.
Victoria Park it's a great place to have a lunch, catch up with friends + great coffee across the road.
Beautiful park in Glebe to have a picnic or just relax under a tree and read, no public bathrooms though and the closest one is in the swim center that they don't let you use. Also great family friendly park with a huge playground surrounded by a lot of options for places to get dinner afterwords!
Very beautiful and a great place to go with the family, the pool is great and the nearby cafe is very neat with its snack choice.
