Uticolor Newcastle

Hello I live in Sydney south and previously had Glenn from Uticolor do work on my cars he is excellent! And I have kept his phn number and calling him for more work! All their tradespeople are the best I would recommend them to anyone!

Just had my leather lounge cleaned and colour touched up for the second time in two years. Brett and his wife are magic. Both times I have had excellent results. The lounge suite comes up like brand new. I highly recommend them.

Brett and Deanne repaired my lounge brilliantly. My lounge is approximately 9 yeas old and was showing general wear so they recoloured and sealed the seats. They also repaired a small (but obvious) spot where colour had been stripped from one of the seats due to me spilling some window cleaner. The lounge looks brand new again. I was absolutely blown away with the results. Lovely people who provided a friendly, thorough and professional service.

Brett removed an ink stain on our leather sofa via a Guardsman guarantee. It was nerve racking to watch the work in progress on our 5 month old sofa, but the end result is amazing. Even up close you can’t tell there was ever a problem. I’d recommend Brett to anyone needing leather repairs or cleaning, and will get him back if we have any more accidents!

This occurred a few years ago so hopefully the person concerned is no longer with the company. I contacted Uticolor as I thought it would be good to have a professional clean on my white 2-seater lounge. The guy turned up (eventually - he was VERY late and did not even call) and proceeded to use a solution of soapy water and a scrubbing brush to attack the lounge. I should have stepped in at that point but assumed he knew what he was doing, though I did expect something more for a $100 per hour job. In short, he ruined it. A $5,000 top quality Italian leather lounge (I'm an interior designer) and it was destroyed. Patches of leather -once he was done- were rough and highly absorbent - and after just a few weeks the lounge looked like I'd been washing it with mud. A dirty white lounge just looks disgusting - not quite the fashion statement I was after. When I complained the owner insisted I'd simply been using the wrong leather care products on the lounge. Eventually they refunded what I had paid them but that hardly compensated me for dealing with this loathsome employee, my ruined lounge, and their attitude about this appalling job.
