Hopeless vegetarian food, not worth visiting just for ambience and service. Moreover, pricy for no reason.

Horrible never should try. Service was delayed. Too cold even after i requested for them to off the AC which they never did. Nothing made sense. They said per adult head had to spend at least $40 and we had to reserve the table which took even more money these are only some wasteful charges they give on bad food though they never mentioned that.the chairs weren't comfy and on top of that i found hair in my food you should never try it and they assume that it was under my name but it wasn't

The food here is beyond unbelievable. Truly the best selection of Indian food with traditional and tasty flavours I’ve ever experienced.

I was a guest at a Bday Dinner on Thursday evening. It sure was a great place for such an event.
But I wish there was lighting to the name board at the entrance from main road and better signage directions inside. For 1st timers.its a necessity!

We had an excellent experience with Urban tadka at my sister’s wedding celebrations. The food was delicious and we got lots of compliments from all our guests! There were plenty of new varieties to choose from and they were all a hit on the day! Excellent communication, highly recommend!

Recently, we have organised a mini wedding reception at Urban Tadka. All our guests had excellent comments for the venue, quality of food and service. Urban Tadka team has worked with us to plan and customise menu items for the event. All my guests were very much satisfied with presentation, quality and taste of food as well as excellent service offered by Urban Tadka team. I will strongly recommend this venue for lunch/dinner as well as for special events.

What a service by Urban tadka. Loved it. Great food and excellent service. Not sure of the staff name but Punjabi guy with moustache was excellent when it comes to service. Very humble and suggested great options. Will definitely come back soon.

We chose Urban Tadka catering for our garden wedding in 2022. Inder and his team did an outstanding job! Our family and guests were so impressed by the food and we had so many comments both on the day and afterwards about Urban Tadka. The food was plentiful, beautifully presented, delicious, and authentic - it tastes like what you’d eat in India! They also made sure that we - the bride and groom - were getting enough to eat for which we were very grateful. Thank you Urban Tadka for being part of our big day!

Awesome experience. The malai kofta and lamb curry was flavourful and tender. Best Indian food in the area, rated by a Pakistani!

One of the best Dining experience. Amazing Cocktails, Scrumptious Entrees and Over the top Delightful Mains. Indian at its best in Sydney.we and our guests were blown away with an overall Dining experience.

A great event venue! Excellent staff, great decor and overall a wonderful experience all round! Good menu suggestions and great food.

We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch at 12.30 p.m.

We were accommodated 15 minutes early which was no issue since there were only 4 other people there.

We were seated at our table and the glasses were dirty - not just fingerprints but dirty. When we told them first, the guy said "no, it's just" then proceeded to look at it more closely before taking the glasses away and cleaning them.

We had our baby with us who was seated in the pram and observed all the wait staff as she does wherever we go. The wait staff decided to say "ohhh doesn't she smile? " NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Our baby is 15 months old!

The cocktails:

We had 2 cocktails: standard $20 & they were fine - nothing to rave about, despite the smoke illusion for one and the other one served in a little bathtub.

The food:

Papad and dips were good, as always, especially the mango chutney.

Paneer Tikka was amazing - truly cooked perfectly.

Aloo Baingan: just because you put some schezwan sauce with potato and eggplant doesn't make it schezwan. Disappointing at best!

Cheese Naan: inconsistent - some had cheese on it (grated) and some in it - we ordered 3

Dessert

Rabdi Brulee: overcooked brulee - dry and crumbly
Falooda: Mango kulfi was frozen and icy, but the pistachio kulfi in the falooda was fine.

Considering you have to pre-pay $35 per person it was disappointing at best and more than that the menu hasn't changed since the last time we were there exactly 2 years prior!

Highly disappointing and overrated now! Needs an overhaul!

We had an amazing experience at Urban Tadka. The staff were well equipped with knowledge about the food and wine. And of course, the food was delicious.

Best restaurant ever. Excellent food, service and ambience but didn’t cost an arm and a leg. We ordered taco chat, biryani, and garlic cheese naan which were all exceptional. Only wish it was closer to home.

Nice ambience for fine dining. Food and service is excellent.one suggestion go early if you planning to fine-dine, as it gets crowded and very loud in peak hrs.

I had my Hindu wedding ceremony back in September and highly recommended this venue for newly engaged couples. If you are after an outdoor venue that is low key and elegant this is the place! All of the staff were so lovely. A special call out to Dimpy and Malika for helping me plan the event and answering all of my many questions leading up to the event. The layout and spread of the breakfast buffet were phenomenal from the different colours and variety of delicious food! Lunch was also very good. I honestly cannot recommend Urban Tadka enough! Thank you for making our wedding day extra special!

I was have my friend birthday party, there was very bad staff services. So please improve otherwise very bad effect on your business.

Celebrated my graduation here. The food was sensational, service fantastic, beautiful restaurant. Thanks for making my evening so special. I’ll be back.
