Urban Skylights did a fantastic job! It was super quick from enquiry to quote to install. They were easy to deal with and it's made such a difference to our dark kitchen! We love our new skylight, it's awesome!
The Good:
- Joel was friendly, professional, and provided good advise on solution options to meet my requirements.
- Provided the quote promptly after site visit. Scheduled installation short period after placing order (these are usually difficult to get from a tradie)
- Overall happy with the price of the skylight installation and work
The Bad:
After installation, I noticed 3 marks on the skylight glass, which I don't expect to see on a newly installed skylight. At first I thought they may be defects. In fact, it was left over adhesive glue from the protective film because the glass hadn't been cleaned after install (I could even see fingerprints when up close). I had to clean both the underside and the roof side to remove all three marks. This took considerable time for me, which would have been minimal time if it had been done immediately after install. Therefore, rating "marked" down.
