Upright Multipositional MRI

After giving all my personal details, including a previous married surname, just in case, to the Upright MRI Receptionist, she told me that I had never been there before. I told her that I had and explained their address location. The receptionist kept repeating the business name, which I didn’t disagree with. She kept saying that I was never a patient there. I described the building and she was silent. She told me not to speak to her that way, when I didn’t even raise my voice and as I worked over 30 years in the Justice system of NSW, I was only polite and courteous to her. I did repeat to her that her records were not correct as I had been there in the last 10 years. I described my experience there. She kept saying that I had never been there and insinuated that I was a liar! I asked for this worker’s first name and she yelled, “Why? ! ” I said, “Because I told you my full name and you have all my personal details, I only want your name. ” The rude receptionist then SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN, ending the call that I had waited all afternoon for. I needed that appointment. I hope that their calls are monitored so her Manager can hear how RUDE she is to their patients. Patients request upright MRIs because they suffer from anxiety - so they do not need a rude, confronting, hostile receptionist yelling at them, accusing them of lying and then cutting off their important phone call. That receptionist is in the WRONG JOB.

I have lumbar spine MRI and I prefer to do it by upright machine but I'm just wondering if the accuracy of upright MRI is same as 3T. Could you please provide me some advice.

Travelled quite a bit to get there, but it’s the upright open MRI in Sydney. I can’t handle being in an enclosed area. Dr told me about this machine. I was sceptical until I did it and now I won’t go anywhere else.

This place is genius! I love that I can stand up and I’m not shoved in a tunnel! I’ll come back again if my back plays up.

Called for an appointment. On hold for some time. Hold information says you can walk I don’t need an appointment.
Got there and receptionist said for MRI just walk out internal door as there is another room, waited there for 1.5 hours still no call up when enquired they told me In wrong room and had to cross the road for MRI. Finally got to MRI next available appointment was a month later. Staff don’t know what there doing.
Have no consideration what they put their poor patients through.

Best place for mri nice staff traveled 1400 km and it was worth every km
