Policy purchased as a Sole Trader who works in Allied Health. I found the process user friendly, quick to gain insurance quote and cover. I also found it was a comparable price to other providers. Worth looking into these guys if you are Sole Trader/Independent Worker who contracts.

Was using Bizcover to search for PL/PI insurance for my sole trader/support worker business as this had been recommended by NDIS folks. Thankfully Upcover came up in the search results when I was shopping around because when I looked deeper into what was covered by top products recommended by Bizcover, I learned that one of the activities I regularly undertake (swimming with clients at the ocean) wasn't covered. Also repeated marketing calls and requests for info were so annoying. The team at Upcover were really helpful - they got straight to the point and didn't ask for the same info over and over. I like that the products are designed with gig workers in mind - this is SO needed. Definitely recommend for any sole-trader support workers starting up providing NDIS services.

I signed up with UpCover recently. The sign up process was smooth and the team was very helpful and reassuring. I have not had to make a claim yet so am unable to comment on that process. However, if the sign up process is anything to go off, I believe the insurance claim procedure would be quite smooth.
