Upbeat Social dj’d for us at our engagement party with photo booth. They - and in particular - Tom, were awesome. Tom was extremely flexible and responsive, he used (and massively improved) our playlist, he was well liked by everyone at the party (including our parents and staff at the venue). The photo booth looked great and was lots of fun. We couldn’t recommend them more!

I organised my daughter's formal this year and came across the jackpot that is Tom and the team at Upbeat Social. He had the dance floor pumping right from the start and it stayed so for the next 4 hours! He really read the room and played the music that suited the demographic. It was a huge success! We also used their Photobooth which was absolutely loved by the guests.

Valerio exceeded our expectations as a DJ and is friendly and professional and made our wedding perfect! He was able to take our YouTube Music playlists and played the key songs and playlists at exactly the right time. He also blended and transitioned songs together seamlessly and it was a nice touch. He also took requests and at the end after the night finished he even stayed back for an encore of one last song. He also let me plug my guitar into his sound system for a special performance. We hired a photobooth for our wedding from Upbeat Social. Tom was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and easy to work with. The whole process was seamless from start to finish - would highly recommend!

We used Upbeat Social for our wedding day music and they truly made our night. We booked both a DJ and saxophonist and they were a duo I cannot recommend highly enough. So easy to work with, we gave them a playlist of the vibe of song we liked and they read the crowd on the night perfectly. Had everyone up and dancing and nailed every in between moment to keep the atmosphere exactly as we had hoped it would be. Would book them again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone I knew.

Highly recommend Upbeat Social for corporate events! We had the Maple-Rose Duo followed by Sean the DJ and Sax combo and the guests thoroughly enjoyed this. The photo booth is also a must!

Tom from Upbeat Social was brilliant. We hired him for both DJ and photo booth services for a 21st birthday celebration and it was 100% smooth from start to finish. He was great to communicate with in the leadup to the event, arrived on time, set everything up really efficiently and was so easy and flexible to deal with throughout the night. The music was sensational (guests wanted him to keep playing after 5 hours - couldn't get enough of him). The photo booth was such a great addition to the event - everyone loved it and were so thrilled to take home great-quality prints that captured the mood of the night so well. Would HIGHLY recommend.

They did an amazing job for our function, professional, good communication, performances were great and the event was a huge success!

Where do I start, we hired an upbeat social Photo Booth for an outdoor school fair. Firstly the installer turned up 20 minutes late, and an hours installation took nearly 2 hours as their modem was broken and they didn’t have another one on hand which took us right up to the start time of the fair.

Once the booth was working our fair logo was being cut off on the prints to which they had to come back again and fix.

We were told the day off that we needed sandbags for the backdrop to hold it down so we scrambled to grab some weights from the school gymnasium.

We were not advised where equipment should be placed, so as the sun set, it was so bright, it washed out people’s faces out on the photos so we had to shade people for every photo and take multiple shots.

The digitals I received were poor quality and blurry. I’d be able to take a clearer photo off my iPhone.

We asked them to come earlier to pack up at 8pm, they turned up at 8: 30pm to which we had already taken down the backdrop ourselves etc.

When confronted with our frustrations of their poor service they couldn’t seem to understand why we were upset and were rude with their communications.

Would never hire them again or recommend them.

The entire Upbeat Social team are incredibly helpful, professional, easy to deal with and all-round super talented. An absolute dream team, would give more stars if we could. Huge shout out to Galen, thank you for making our wedding day so amazing. Xx Ellie & Ben

My partner and I recently had an Indian/Western mix wedding. During the lead up the team at Upbeat Social were extremely helpful and open-minded (as we requested English music and also Bollywood). On the wedding night we had Tom DJ for us. He did an amazing job mixing both Indian and English music and our entire wedding enjoyed themselves so much on the dance floor. Can't thank the team enough for their work!

Our DJ Tom was absolutely amazing. He was thoughtful, polite and professional from start to finish. Our wedding was postponed due to Covid and accommodating our new date was no issue at all. He gave us great suggestions and tips to guide us through the whole process and how the evening would run. The music was awesome and the dancefloor was on fire right after our first dance until close. We also booked Annie as our vocalist pianist. She was wonderful and really set the the tone for the night as she performed from the moment guests started arriving and made for a very elegant start to the evening. Massive thanks to the team and I would highly recommend them for any event!
