4I went there for the first time and will never go again. The person I met keeps denying/make it seems irrelevant when I told her about how I feel. No trace of empathy and understanding. Not helpful and even make you feel worse.
They were not helpful at all, the person who give me consulting service looks scary, she didn’t let me finish my story, and just gave me some generic advice. Generally speaking, more harm than good.
I’m appalled by the treatment my 20 year old son received at this clinic. He was granted a short consultation in which the therapist determined he wasn’t suicidal then proceeded to minimise rather than validate his very legitimate problems. I was so proud of him for reaching out for help, but I doubt he will ever do it again after the way he was fobbed off. More harm was done than good.
The student clinic was staffed by intern psychologists. It was highly recommended by a friend who sought help for her child. I was very happy with the support, patience and professional psychological services received from the clinic. The provisional psychologist who supported me developing parenting skills was attentive, collaborative and goal orientated.
