Union Club Hotel reviews
48 I haven't been to this pub in a while but stopped in to get some lunch the other day
Staff are really welcoming and friendly. Great place to stop for a drink, feed, and a press. Can't comment on the food as I only had a serve of veg n mash. Was delicious though not a great variety for vegetarian meals though
Absolutely love this place! Burger night is a fave and the vegan options (pizza, burger and nachos) are great. Took my whole family here (all meat eaters) and they loved it too. Good service. Definitely recommend.
Second night here in a row. Good family friendly environment and prices are excellent for food and drink! $12 burger night Wednesday!
Bland and soggy food, smoking in the no-smoking balcony while we ate the bland food, no obvious signage on where to order food as most pubs have designated areas for food orders.
Mister fans are far to wet, they say if the moisture's right we can go all night. Strongly disagree I am soaked I'm going home.
Very good service. Very good atmosphere and the most important thing the beer is always nice and cold.
The Beer was cheap but the meals were very slow to come out even thought it wasn't really busy and most of the meal was cold. Mediocre service as well, smiling is free.
It's a shame you don't see many of these classic big old country pubs around anymore. The Union Club Hotel is a perfect example of how to do it right: plenty of space, friendly staff, delicious food, and maybe most importantly, cold COLD beer on tap. The attached drive-through bottle shop is also well-stocked and easy to access. Just a brilliant pub, top to bottom.
Absolutely LOVED out meal! Kids were treated as if they were special, so was my wife and I! Staff were lovely, and the meals were on POINT! I couldn't finish mine! Only downside is that every time the automatic door near the bistro opens, frigid cold air blows in on everyone seated near it. Not a deal breaker, but I'll definitely be sitting elsewhere next time. Highly recommended!
Chicken when served was pink and fully raw in multiple meals when confronted chefs insisted it was cooked and looked pink wish photos were taken as it was raw
Central location pub. All of the classics are on the menu. The customer service was friendly and they bring the food to your table. I would return
Staff were very good and helpful. Food was ok but could have been better. Scotch fillet not very tender and other meals were very salty
One of the mainstay pubs in wagga. It hasn't changed hands and provides good food great company and reasonable priced drinks all with friendly service.
An old almost historic pub in the middle of town, 2 levels to indulge (upstairs balcony is my preferred choice).
The food is excellent highly recomended.
Recomend trying the Buffalo Chicken Burger, it is well worth it
The staff are very friendly, it is children friendly and a great atmosphere
Would we visit again yes we would for sure.
Best bearded beer steward in the bottle shop in Wagga. He is able to disseminate what my troubled mind needs and offer a solution which invariably wipes clean my corrupted mental hard drive.
I had the scotch fillet with mash and salad and my wife had the sea food basket with chips and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly with a good amount of char. Mash was creamy and the salad well dressed. Seafood basket was yummy, crunchy and a nice size for one. Overall excellent. The is an option on the bottom of the menu to shout the chefs a beer. Do it. They deserve it.
One of tops pups, really nice place…
I got a salmon there god was good unlike the let it burn a little bit but is a pup haha so anyway
Came to celebrate a great victory by the Knights over the Raiders back in May. Being a Saturday night, the pub was full of patrons, but the service was great, very polite, and the meals arrived quite quickly, considering how busy the pub was. Delicious steaks and nice cold beer - can't beat it.
Friday night and the place was chockers. Still managed to give us a terrific meal with great service. Lots of good beers on tap too. Great old pub. Cheers!
