Unbiased Mortgage Brokers

Filled out a time consuming form with all the details, and then literally never heard from anyone despite multiple attempts to call and email. What a waste of time and extremely poor service. Not sure how this business is even functional when they don’t get back to clients at all. Not to mention just rude.

I don’t understand how people even rate this company? They don’t answer calls or emails. How can you rate a service that doesn’t exist?

Jodie Harmston was a treat to work with. She diligently worked through all the curve balls thrown by the bank and persisted to get the loan approved and settled on time. I found her to be very courteous and understanding and will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loan

Cannot speak highly enough of Unbiased. They got us a great deal in the first place, and keep renegotiating better rates for us years into our mortgage. Phenomenal service.

Do not waste your time with them.
They will not answer your voicemail nor they will return the call.
They even booked (via text) a telephonic catch up but I have never received the call.

I bet they will reply by saying "they are short staff".

Unbiased are exactly what their name suggests. Unbiased in their sourcing and recommendations of loan providers. But also provide excellent follow up service through their ongoing monitoring and negotiation of interest rates. Cannot recommend them more highly!

I reached out to this company over 2 weeks ago, and was requested to complete a lengthy online questionnaire, which took me a few hours, disclosing my current financial situation. I was requested time frames with availability, which I provided but never heard from them. They never responded to my voicemail messages I left them, and neither did I receive any responses to my email follow-ups. Very unprofessional, I regret this company is in possession of all my financial details.

Despite Unbiased Mortgage Brokers having responded here to my negative review, to date they still never responded to any of my voicemail or email messages.

Did exactly as promised. Set me up with a good loan which provides a cash back into my loan on a monthly basis. In addition, the broker, Jodie, is active in checking my existing rate and has negotiated several rate drops.

Dealt with Daryl and Jodie and couldn't recommend them more.my circumstances were complex and their knowledge what better than any other broker I had approached. And the trailing commission is so worth it!

Jodie was great to deal with, very professional, made the process as simple and as clear as possible. We had a 6 month settlement period in a regional town and she found us the best option with a great interest rate. The online portal was easy to use and helped clarify what stage of the process we were up to any time I was curious. But more than anything else the knowledge that Jodie had no incentive to recommend one product or bank over another gave us piece of mind, and with the fee covered by the first commission, we're looking forward to those trailing commissions landing in our account to help us pay off the mortgage.

Could not recommend these guys highly enough. The team walked us through every single step of purchasing our first home and made it such a simple process. We continue to receive the monthly rebates and follow up from their team. Two years on and the recently contacted us advising they'd been able to negotiate a lower interest rate on our behalf.

I got my mortgage refinanced with Unbiased last year and dealt with Daryl. The overall process has been seamless, efficient and I love it how I get the cash back. I am aware there are negative reviews on Whirlpool with Unbiased agents not getting back to people. I cannot comment on that as I had excellent service. Just remember that when you get a mortgage from a regular mortgage broker, you have to question the real incentive behind their advice (remember the Royal Commision findings?). How can one truly say their mortgage broker is not offering the most lucrative mortgage for them (highest commission and trailing commission) and not the best for you? The same goes for insurance brokers etc. My 2 cents. Thread your own path.
