Ultrasound For Women Penrith reviews
15I recently attended this centre and found the Sonographer - Jessica kind and very understanding. The receptionist was helpful too, thank you.
Excellent customer service, from the beginning to the end. Valerie is amazing.thank you
Highly recommend
From the helpful reception staff like Bree to Dr Valeria and Sonographer Rachel, I felt very calm and informed throughout my ultrasound. They were friendly and professional and kept me in the loop throughout the entire appointment. Thanks so much, ladies!
GO TO HIGH STREET MEDICAL IMAGING. THEY LET YOU GO IN WITH YOUR PARTNER.
It's my first child and it's a major scan where my partner has had difficulties with previous pregnancy and they won't even let you in the rooms even though you are double vaxed and willing to get a covid test that shows you're negative. This place is a joke.
I spoke to reception and they were refusing to let me speak with management.
They don't even deserve 1 star.
Last two occasions had the same stenographer and was very unhappy with her service esp for the price you pay.
Waited over 40mins for my scheduled appointment and was only allowed to facetime hubby for 2mins when he hasn't been allowed to any scans due to covid. Not to mention for that two minutes nothing exciting was happening anyways and the stenographer was measuring the babies stomach. I find this really upsetting and no other place has restricted husbands or a support person. Esp if the ultrasound is more than just routine.
I was dying for a 3D image of bub or a good photo of her at least and because I had this same lady both times I've ended up with no images worth using for a photo. She didn't even try to take the photo just said bub wasn't in a good position and that I should have gotten better pics at the last scan. I told her she did the last scan and told me that again bub wasn't in a position to do take the proper photo.
After being in the room for nearly 45mins the senior stenographer had to come in and pretty much redo the entirety of the scan again. Which might I add he did in half the time without any fuss or effort.
Overall very disappointed in my overall experience here and only keep coming back as my Obstetrician recommends them.
The very first scan I went to here - the stenographer was wonderful and the male Doctor is also wonderful. The reception ladies are also wonderful. This one lady just brings the whole place down and thought it should be noted.
Start to finish my appointment couldn't have went any better. Michelle who did my ultrasound was lovely and explained things to me about baby as she went. No problems that my partner couldn't come as I received videos and pics straight after my appointment, thanks team!
I have had such a large number of scans over the years.
First attended in 2018 and again last week. I cannot fault the service.in the slightest. Very kind staff on each occasion. Reception is wonderful also. Of all the sonograms I've had during and out of pregnancy this place has been the most informative and friendly.
Listen to the negative reviews on this business. Rude and insensitive staff who are not compassionate or helpful. They have rules and bureaucracy for no reason. There are many other ultrasound businesses in the area that have Covid safe measures to ensure pregnant women have the support of their partners during their ultrasound.
Unnecessarily isolating women during their pregnancy. They won’t even let you FaceTime or call your husband/partner during your ultrasound. It wasn’t just a standard ultrasound either, it was for investigating a heart defect in my baby. Didn’t realise there was a risk for spreading Covid over the phone. They justified this by saying that the sonographer has the right to their privacy (well if my husband was in the room like he normally would be, he’d be looking directly at the sonographer) and what about his rights as a father to hear what they have found and what they are saying about his child. This is not okay. There’s no need to be so harsh. Not to mention they were going to charge me $250 for this when it’s covered my Medicare anywhere else. Absurd. The doctor who works there and checked my baby’s heart for me was really lovely and kind. The star is for her, I’d give her more stars and the rest of the business one. As a whole, I’m really unhappy with them.
Had an appointment in place I waited two weeks for. Called 30 mins before my appointment due to traffic I advised them I would be 10 minutes late. Was told they can't wait longer then 5 minutes. Private clinic asking $220 for an ultrasound and weren't able to wait a few minutes. I left work early lost wages then called them back and asked if their doctors who read the scans are specialist gynaecologists or just drs, Receptionist avoided answering several times and kept saying the sonographer takes the scan and my gynaecologist is a gynaecologist. Finally got an answer that their drs are no different to a bulk billing service which I have been to several times before and they have never been so rude if you called and said you would be a few minutes late. Could have had this ultrasound done two weeks ago but instead lost wages to be told they won't wait longer then 5 minutes because the sonographer had to go home. Wouldn't recommend this place, terrible and rude service with questions avoided by staff without even stepping a foot in the place!
I have been with them through a baby with a heart defect and also a loss, I have always found them to be very skillful and caring staff members and technicians.
You guys need more good reviews! I don't understand why people are leaving such low reviews. I had a HyCoSy test late last year. I was so frightened and all of you - from your lovely receptionists to the doctors and assistants and nurses- helped me so much. Thank you! I hope to come back to see you very soon when we hopefully have a bun in the oven.
Excellent service! The sonographers are always very friendly and informative and Dr. Lanzarone is very professional.
I was nervous coming here due to the mostly negative reviews about this place. I attended Ultrasound for Women, Penrith on 6th April 2019 and was greeted by a lovely, down to earth receptionist. The sonographer conducting our NT scan was so lovely, caring and you can tell she really loves her job. I think she was more excited than my partner and l were when seeing the baby! It was really cute. I didn't remember her name but in my next appointment here, l will make sure l mention how lovely she was!
My previous experiences had been mostly positive & the sonographer Rachel was really lovely when I had a scan to confirm that my baby had died & I was miscarrying.
At our first appointment (where we saw our baby & it had a heartbeat) we were told that the images would be sent to our phones so we didn't need to take any pictures ourselves. We never received these images. We followed up at our second appointment & were informed they'd been having trouble with this system, yet it wasn't mentioned at the first scan! I have now called again to follow up & the receptionist had no empathy (or sympathy) even when I broke down crying on the phone because I have no record of my baby.
Some basic empathy would go a long way in customer service with some of the sonographers & receptionists at this place (some are great though).
I am left distraught & in limbo and unsure of whether I will ever see these images of my baby again. How can it be so hard for them to get these images to me? Go back to paper prints if the system isn't working, or at least inform patients to take their own photos as a back up if this 21st technology is so unreliable& unmanageable!
