Tyrrells Property Inspections

I must phoned to get a fire safety certificate seeing it states on their website they conduct these inspections. Why else would I phone. A rude lady answered and said they do not. I told her they must since it is written on their website. In fact, I read it from their website while she was listening. I said, ” could it be that they used to”? She said that this is true but no longer do. I have not got a crystal ball. Why didn’t she tell me they used to and haven’t yet removed from website? A waste of my time. When I suggested she should see that it is removed to save wasting time she waa sarcastic in her tone. She couldn’t care a damn that people have seriously limited time. This at the front of a business is not a good tone

Not worth the $950 the inspector didn't even pick up the top and bottom of the external and the CSD doors not being painted.

No hesitation recommending Terrell's. Inspector was professional, knowledgable and took the time to explain his findings and any remedial works needed.

This company was fantastic for me! I didn’t make their job easy and I disagreed with them at one point (I didn’t understand the guidelines of their job) but they remained focused on helping me and were kind and explained everything in a polite, professional manner. They were fantastic to deal with and I say this before the outcome of my situation they helped me with has been resolved. They truly were very kind and professional and I would recommend them to everyone.

Byron was tremendous! Highly professional, arrived early and completed inspection within a required timeframe. The report provided is extremely comprehensive. Very poor to say the least. Was told they would provide photos and they did not. Final conclusion in the report was everything was satisfactory, yet over the course of several months following the report paint started peeling off over the entire roof. Blind freddy could see the problems, yet they could not, that was the whole idea of getting a professional report, what a waste of time and money working with these guys.

I recently engaged Tyrells to review of the partially complete repairs to my apartment balcony. Mark Irvine attended very promptly, and undertook a careful examination of the waterproofing and other aspects of the work. I was very impressed by Mark's professionalism and attention to detail at the site visit. He then provided an excellent report within two days. The report discusses a number of issues in considerable detail, with particular attention to the waterproofing. Supporting photographs and references to the relevant NCC and AS requirements and recommendations are included. This is a very helpful document.

It is stressful when your building experience goes wrong for whatever reason. The timely, independent, professional and sensible advice from John at Tyrells provided me with the information I needed to resolve a couple of large problems with the build of our home. I highly recommend this company.

I was highly recommended to use Tyrrells for my building report by my neighbour and my friend who has his own building company. Mine was a very complicated matter and I found from start to finish the Consultant Alex Oehm, was professional, kept me up to date, explained all my questions and supported the process I had to get through with lots of wisdom and experience. The inspector Anthony Capaldi was also professional, thorough and took the time to explain my matter. I also found the report was written in a manner that I could understand and the assessor was available for any questions I had. The Owners Corporation of 47-49 Frenchs Forest Rd Frenchs Forest, a Commercial Strata building engaged Tyrrells to provide a detailed report of the current condition of our building. The report is required as a new commercial building is to be errected on adjoining land. Alex Ohem NSW Sales Manager contacted me prior to there engagement to explain the process and to provide 3 sample reports. Alex also advised that the developer is required to provide a Dilapidation report and that we would not have to obtain our own report. Whilst this frank advice was appreciated the committee elected to go ahead as we wanted to ensure nothing was overlooked The report was completed on time and has provided us with a detailed photographic record of the building with explanatory notes. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I have had several property checks in the past but Tyrrell’s were by far the best I have used. They asked any special concerns I had beforehand and did the report the next day and spoke to me over the phone to explain everything and answer all my questions.
