Tweed Ultima Apartments

Amazing customer service and a beautiful stay. We stayed in one of the deluxe apartments which was beautifully decorated and had harbour views. We loved waking up and watching the boats every morning. The location was perfect, walking distance to collangatta beach and restaurants. The best of all was the staff. They are all very friendly and know what they are doing. The apartment was clean early and they let us check in before check in time. We will definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Tweed Ultima. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for us and our two young children. It was clean and in an ideal position, with close proximity to the esplanade and the beach. The pool was amazing, lots of space for lots of families. The staff were very accommodating and the apartment was clean and tidy. We will be back!

Absolutely no complaints regarding Tweed Ultima, great location and a very helpful receptionist. I stayed for 11 days and would stay again.no worries!

Every year in August for many years (except COVID years) we have chosen to stay at Tweed Ultima for our annual National Connexions Conference. The units never fail to impress us and our delegates who also stay there. Thank you for making our conference memorable.

If I was to mention any problems, it would be the shower tray that didn't drain properly and water sat on the far end against the wall and door. Also white water marks on lower wall and shower tray tiles. If not checked now it will build up till it would be hard to remove. Noticeable because of the slate gray tiles.

Once again thank you for the beautiful clean unit we were greatly impressed.

Awsome place to stay, weather it's a couple of nights or a couple of weeks!
Lovely management, nothing was a problem.
So clean, Awsome harbour views from our room, close to everything, we didn't need to use the car.
Walking distance to everything we needed.
Will definitely be staying here again

Staff were very helpful nothing too much trouble. Location could not be better everything within walking distance. Room very spacious and had everything one needed. A little tired but very functional. A bit of a step over bath lip to get out of shower may be a problem for elderly people.

Wow! What a place. Rooms were fantastic and the views - AMAZING! Central to most things like restaurants, bowling clubs and the supermarkets. Staff was accommodating and so friendly.
Definitely want to come back!

Been staying here yearly for 10 years plus. Have watched a constant stream of 'new management' come and go. Latest owners have been here for less than a year, but you can already see some improvements. Rooms can be hit and miss with cleanliness and amenities, just the luck of the draw. Hopefully this will become a lot better with the new staffing. Location is perfect, with everything you will ever need very close by.

Good location within walking distance of eateries, shopping centre and Twin Towns Service club. Rooms are comfortable.

Very helpful staff and magnificent northerly view of Ocean and hinterland. Well appointed apartment with kitchen and laundry essentials.

Booked an apartment for my Grandparents while they visited from interstate. Very nice apartments and amenities, including secure car parking. Special mention to Brett the manager who went above and beyond for their stay to make sure everything was perfect. Would recommend these apartments for Brett alone, amazing customer service. We had a two bedroom apartment. It was comfortable. Not happy sharing the apartment with all the cockroaches reported it to reception who just gave the usual reply that “ we didn’t know about it and we will get pest control in” this never happened. At the very least they could supply insect killer. They offered us another room but if there are cockroaches in one room they will be in another apartment. TV is a bit intermittent and limited foxtel.

Lived there for about two years, was kind of sad when I had to move due to personal reasons. One of the best locations to stay at on the coast. You got the beautiful Coolangatta/Kirra beach just within a Half minute of walk. The staffs there were nice and professional, I had trouble receiving my mails and they helped me out a lot. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

I could get past the cheap, tacky, mismatched decor since it’s not my house, however I couldn’t accept the stained carpet & lounge & dirty curtains with patches of mould on them! Overall the bathroom & kitchen were clean, however the attention to detail in the cleanliness just wasn’t there in things like the bottoms of the doors & in the corners & grout in the shower. Also now that I’ve mentioned the shower, the pressure was great however for people who are elderly, disabled or on the larger side would struggle to get in & out of the high bathtub & the space once in the shower was very tight. The kitchen was actually quite nice & looked like it might have been updated. Now they just need to update the rest of the apartment with new carpet & curtains & have the lounge dry cleaned! Some other small details to mention - the car park could use some proper signage, for example directions to the lifts & which tower block was which & the lobby would be great with some type of decorative decor as it was just so bland & boring looking.

This was my 4th visit to Ultima, always happy with the stay, good views, helpful staff & convenient location.
This visit we did have a problem with the hot water service for a few days, but was eventually fixed. Might have been more of a problem with children present.
Also got woken up, one night, by the fire alarm (false alarm), but better that, than no warning in a fire.
Will still recommend staying here & hopefully I will be back again.

I booked 5 rooms, all of which were not clean. I asked 3 times for cleaners to come but they didn't, nor did Reception care. The apartments were dated & need refurbishing. Room 2032 was a disgrace & I feel embarrassed for the owners. A terrible experience all up.

Arrived at 3: 30, entered my 2 bedroom apartment room… both toilets still have stains on them, pubic hair on both toilets…. Greasy hand Smudges over every dining chair, dirty smudges on all light switch fittings.carpet stained and dirty.ring reception “after hours” to be told nothing can be done until the morning and I would have to deal with it.

Pros: The receptionist was lovely, the location was excellent, and my partner raved about the pool - good if you are a lap- swimmer.
Cons: This place was built in the '80's, and is like a time warp - you literally walk in to a place last decorated and furnished in the '80's, where it seems like a bunch of people have been partying hard from that time to present day.the couch was covered with questionable stains, the bed legs were one second away from collapse, the carpet was a public health hazzard, the tv was the oldest set I have seen still working.had basic foxtel, free to air channels didn't work.the garbage disposal in the sink smelt like the portal to hell, the curtains were stained.all in all, the unit is in desperate need of updating.
