Tweed Regional Museum - Murwillumbah reviews
13Supersonic exhibition starts today. Tribute to local pop music and culture. Not enough music, but ok.
I didn’t expect to enjoy myself as much as I did here! There was a little bit of everything to see, learn and experience about Tweed and I really love how so many interesting and interactive exhibits are packed in such a small place. Better yet - it’s free! You can tell they’ve really put thought into making the most of this place. One of my favourites was learning about the music that’s come out from Tweed/Murwillumbah/QLD and chilling in the cute 70s lounge and listening to records. The vast thunderegg display was also very cool and learning a bit of the towns history.
Such a lovely museum. Never been there and the latest exhibition is really great. Staff friendly and helpful
Loved the Museum the family had the best time. Lots of interesting things to look at. And the dress up we're so much fun for the kids. Thank you
I reccomend anyone visit this place if you are interested in this areas history. Particularly the video of how scientists estimate the evolution of the area from 40 million years ago until present time. Amazing.
I will definatly be adding this to the list of places I take visitors to in future.
Very good for a regional museum. Some good, well balanced local content. Great rocks and minerals collection with excellent electronic classification using mobile phone and Q codes.
Nice little Museum, great information on the tweed reginal area
Interactive for kids as well
Wow, the place us amazing was here about five 5 years ago, and it was nothing compared to now. Great job, guys. There is a kids advanture dig area a craft area, and the info was terrific. The lady was super helpful and really lovely.
Excellent local facility, showcasing many features of life in the Tweed in days gone by. Staff are always very knowledgeable and friendly
Always worthwhile checking out the additional planned displays and events from time to time.
Interesting regional museum with visiting exhibitions from other museums. Lovely building. My favourite exhibit was the visual timeline of the region over millions of years.
A great insight into Murwillumbah, with an interesting perspective given to me personally by Patrick, the Curator.
A nice small town museum. I went there to see the geological display - but the rest was also really good
Recommend as once being a local, l enjoyed my return visit very much, great for family history.
