Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre - Murwillumbah reviews
32 The water at the hydro pool is 35
The water is absolutely beautiful and you can do all your exercises
Incredibly friendly and welcoming people! The receptionist, squad teacher, and squad members.
I was on big drive from Sydney to Kingaroy and stopped for a swim on my way.
Clean. Warm hydrotherapy pool. Friendly pool attendees. Water super clean. A friendly family atmosphere.
Tweed is the primo region in Australia despite the recent flooding. Tonight l played a fabulous Flood Fund Raiser at The Alley in Murwillumbah to raise cash for people who were totally washed out of home and all. A wonderful community get together with lots of joy. As for Conservative LNP voters and middle class wealthy.not to be seen.but hey for us musicians and artist not in there budget.there is always Mt Warning and so much more to enjoy in this fantastic place no matter what is in the cities. ️
First visit to this local swimming pool. Very impressed. Have many pools and and hydrotherapy pool undercover. There’s also a water slide down the hill and lots of clean green spaces under the sun. Didn’t give 5 stars as needed a 20c piece for the hot water in change rooms so had to duck back to reception to get a couple coins. Extremely clean and a Covid-19 safe place.
Great pool, good amenities, the area around the pool great too, beautiful. Just wish they didn't charge 20 cents for a hot shower. A pain if you don't carry change and many don't these days.
What a clean pool. Friendly staff. Slide down the hill. Pool inside if you want to swim inside. We went there after a day out driving around. Toilets clean. Parking can be difficult to get a car park close. But it's worth it.
Great place for a day out with the family. Price very reasonable, facilities excellent. Well maintained, staff very friendly and helpful. The water slide was a big hit with my family. Has a Bbq area, and picnic tables under shade trees. Enjoyable surrounds, excellent experience for my family.
Great spot for the kids. Makes me want to put a pool in for our kids. Maybe as rates payers for the Tweed Shire you might as the council throw in the slide for no extra charge, would be interesting to see a cost analysis on the wage for the slide and what the income it produces and where that money is spent.
These guys are fully milking covid.you can only book for 1hr and only online. Nobodies wiping seats or hand rail yet they stand at your lane thinking there security guards if your not doing laps. Shame nice pools. Just rude. I paid for a hour to be in that water
Great day out for the kids. Waterside, kids pools, springboard. They had a blast. Lifesaver everywhere and reasonably priced.
Best hydro pool in the region.the centre is spotless.better than any aquatic centre on the Gold Coast by a long way
I got called out over loud speaker for sitting on my boyfriends shoulder for literally 10 seconds (after seeing other people do the same and thinking it was ok) while children got on their parents shoulders and thrown around the water (into other customers and almost into the ladder).
The lifeguards all disappeared after calling me out and I didn’t see a single one watching the pool for atleast half an hour? Like whaaat.
Oh and those same children being thrown around walked out bleeding from their parents hitting them into the ladder but no lifeguard batted an eye
Wonderful pools and facilities. Perfect location and great parking facilities.
The staff though seem so miserable which friends and I have commented on.
If they just smiled and weren’t so impersonal especially at reception I would recommend other friends to this centre in future.

Four pools so there is something for everyone. Indoor general pool, indoor kids teaching pool, indoor heated hydrotherapy pool and outside Olympic size pool. Add to this a hill slide! I can't comment on that as I've never used it but I use the hydrotherapy pool a couple of times a week, and it's always sparkling clean and never too crowded.
My family stopped in on our way to a camping trip. Nice cafe and cute toddler area. Shame the slides were closed during the week but great in-door facilities also.
Unique slide, Great pools and lovely grassy slopes with shade. Ideal for kids birthday party. Indoor pools for kids, therapy, diving boards, lessons, really excellent facility for a small town
Solid fun for the kids of all ages. Toddler pool has been recently upgraded, much to the delight of the families with small kids. The waterslide and diving pool are always a favourite. Facilities are clean and convenient. Food options are quite reasonably priced. Lifesavers and staff are friendly and professional.
Awesome for families. Great big grass area for picnic, relaxing. Brilliant baby/ toddler outdoor pool with spouts and bucket drops etc. Learn to swim heated pool inside for independent teaching. Big slide for those who like that (extra cost - but reasonable). Diving boards, indoor pools, lap pool outside. A hidden gem.
Great place to take the kids on weekends and School holidays as they have a waterside and a diving board open during the warmer months.
