Tweed City Shopping Centre reviews
64Good place to shop and close to home for me. Plenty of variety with Coles and Woolworths, and K Mart, and a lot of speciality stores and Specsavers, coffee shops and places to eat, and the theatres.
The parking is always busy but at least it's free.
Unlike Westfield centres.
There is a good mix of stores.
The major ones are Big W.
Woolworths.k. Mart.
And Cole's.
More than meets the eye. Probably largest shopping centre in the immediate area. Lots of specialty stores and the regular superstores. If you live in the Coolangatta-Tweed area this is probably the best place for one-stop shopping.
Visited tweed city shopping centre last Saturday around 11am and was shocked to see around 20 parking spaces taken up by a car wash company in the prime entrance to the centre. To make matters worse for clients looking for available parking which at that time was down to a minimum half of the spaces were empty. Cannot believe that someone has made such a stupid decision so close to christmas
.
A lot larger then when I lived in the area. A good selection of shops and extremely clean. Toilets were spotlessly clean. Cleaning staff do a great job.
Tweed city have done an amazing job of employing traffic controllers that have no idea what they are doing and actually make the traffic worse, another reason to give this hole a big miss!
My experience is ok, I love tweed city, I think it has alot to offer, more for awhole lot of families or a couple who would love a movie or awhole range of different things weather it be clothing or coffee or cables Thankyou, and the kind staff
Proberbly the best shopping mall on the Tweed coast. Very big plenty of undercover parking many retailb outlets and restaurants to choose
Good range of shopping for the family, Kmart, Big W, Best and Less, Cotton On, lots of fashion stores. Coles and Woolworths. Fantastic Hoyts cinemas, reclining chairs in all cinemas, excellent value for money. Always parking available for free. Also plenty of disabled parking. Large medical centre, two large food courts, inside and outside.
Not from around here. It was easy to find. Is kept very clean. Nice range of stores. Would have preferred more food options though.
Outdoor food area and "entertainment" area is infested with Seagulls. The pesky birds land on your table while eating and its annoying and unpleasant. The shopping Centre management turned off the bird detractor system which has caused this issue. It is frustrating customers and loosing business for the restaurant tennants! Turn on the eagle system otherwise you'll see the restaurants go broke!
My favourite mall. Needs awning at taxi stand for people waiting in summer sun. Managements needs to address this. Always clean. Better foodcourt choices required.
Tweed city is one of the best shopping centres on the coast. It has everything that I need so no need to go anywhere else. It has excellent restaurants and a fun play area for the kids.
I do enjoy this shopping centre and I don't often go. Very interesting place to go and shop or just look around.
Its ok, there a few empty shops which tells me the rent is too high and people are travelling to Robina and Pac Fair for specialty shops as there are no good clothes stores. It also can be hard to find a park at Christmas time. Needs more shade for outside parking.
Was my local 20 yrs ago. Not changed much despite redecoration. Lots of pensioners sitting, and less seats. Weird mix of grotty and very expensive in decor and shops. Carpark still unchanged idiotic place it's always been. Food court expensive - $9 for a coffee? ! Found cheaper, $13 for a mediocre meat roll and medium latte) Good range of the big outlets.
Nice shopping centre has a nice variety of stores from technology to fashion. This Variety also extends to the food court. I would say that all stores (except the big stores eg: Kmart) close rather early
A large centre without the huge crowds further up the coast. If your taste is more Kmart than Gucci, this will fit the bill nicely. Big W, Woolies, a great cinema, and all manner of eateries, easy and free parking ticks all the required boxes.
A huge shopping centre very well situated near to the Qld and Nsw borders and serves many suburbs in and around the area. You are spoilt for choice for eating options and there's also a food court. All the big retailers are there, Big W, Woolies, Coles and more. Medical and banking outlets to suit your need. Fashion stores by the scores. There are movie houses too. Plenty of parking outside and underneath. Altough the outside parking gets full very quickly. All up a good shopping experience.
