These days it's extremely hard to find personalised service in a music store. Particularly when 99% of trade happens online. I have truly tested the staff at Turramurra Music by, on occasion, purchasing things like small quantities of obscure parts for microphone stands. The level of service never falters. In the 33 years that I've been running Zen Studios I have encountered very few retailers who are as good as Turramurra Music.

The customer service is exceptional. I purchased a keyboard from them during Covid in 2021, the keyboard was delivered quickly - no wait time. And the price was highly competitive too. 2 years after Covid the keyboard was sold on Facebook Marketplace via a friend and Turramurra Music was more than happy to generate an invoice that left out the delivery address details for security reasons. They really went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I was just accompanying my partner for a look around, but ended up making a spontaneous purchase, thanks to outstanding customer service from Rod. He patiently entertained my somewhat basic questions and was so generous with his knowledge, AND did me a good deal on the equipment I bought. It's also just a fantastic shop with many interesting instruments etc to look at.

Bad service and overcommitted.make me disappointed.sent my guita to repair.the shop assistant told me it can be fixed within 3 days and someone will call me once it.fixed.but after 1 week, don't receive any call and the guitar is till pending on repair.

Fantastic experience shopping here. Was unsure exactly what I wanted but the helpful staff went out of their way to let me test as long as I wanted. I walked out with a great purchase at a great bargain. Will be back again

Great store! Went in earlier this week to buy a guitar but after bringing it home for a week decided the tone wasn't right for me. They were very helpful allowing me to come in and exchange it for a better fit where I ended up with this fantastic mexican strat. Very friendly staff:)

Any business owner who claims they can't find good staff needs to visit this store. Sensational staff, who don't try to upsell to more than what is needed to help the customer. Super helpful and enthusiastic, they deserve 11/10. Owner's attitude is to price very competitively and it's a dynamite combination. Highly recommend this business.

Definitely the best music store in Sydney that I know of. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. They have almost anything here and charge excellent prices. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable for anything you need. I bought all of the gear for an entire music studio from here as well as almost all of my performance gear and I have been incredibly satisfied with every purchase.

Purchased an Adam Jones Art collection Epiphone guitar. Only 15 available in Australia and Matt helped me secure one. Good communication all the way and got it safely up to North Queensland. Will be contacting you next time for sure!

Came in to buy a keyboard to begin learning to play and the gentleman who helped me was so lovely, I already knew which one I was after so it was a pretty quick transaction but he was so nice and was helpful with suggestions on where to find resources and what I may want to try out in a couple of months. I believe his name was Jamie! Lovely experience:)

I had a wonderful experience ordering an Arturia Minilab 3 from Turramurra Music Centre. Although I was able to place an order through their website, they didn't have it in stock, but customer service resolved the issue promptly. They offered me the display model for a little bit cheaper. They even mailed it express! It arrived quickly and in excellent, just-as-new condition. Thank you Turramurra Music Centre, I now have a new toy to look forward to this Christmas holiday.

Took ages to get any assistance, then it was only passing help, I would of spent significant $$$ instead I will do it online

Disappointed with internet order experience. Was advised they could source item 5-7 working days. Took over 3 weeks in the end…

I had checked the website for availability of the Yamaha Reface CS which does not show "check for availability" but "add to cart" and travelled to the store to buy one on Saturday morning. I had been researching for a few weeks and was ready to buy. Arrived in store and sadly, no stock. Oh well, it can happen. Another option that I had been considering was the Behringer Deepmind 12 and there was one sitting there on display. I asked politely if they could price match a better deal on the Synth, and did they have it in stock. Unfortunately, not in stock and were unable to match a better price. I asked about the display piece and was told it was "a bit beaten up" and was not for sale, to which I responded "I'm happy to haggle", but was sadly refused. All I wanted to do was walk out with my first Synth under my arm, but left with a pocket full of money and disappointment. I called another dealer, and in retrospect should have called TMC before I drove over, and they checked the Distro's Portal, gave me an ATA and I gave them my order. Looking forward to my first Synth arriving.

Love this store. Has every conceivable music product and most of them in stock. Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are only a bit intimidating which is great for a music amateur like me. The store has now expanded across the various sub-stores to create quite a music superstore. It's very cool.
