Turramurra Memorial Park reviews
21A beautiful park with plenty of shade on a hot day under big, mature trees. Childrens playground, sports field, toilets, some covered tables.
We really like this park in general. Nice big oval with a walking track around it and 2 play areas. Only downside is that there isn't much shade.
Tennis courts are very average. The artificial grass is flat and old. The hard courts are nice and perfect condition. There are 4 courts in total with a playground in between them. A park a bit in front of the courts has a zipline and what not. The oval is in nice condition. Overall a nice place.
Beautiful park with 4 tennis courts (no lights), a fenced playground for younger kids, two ziplines, a walking track around a rugby field, and clean toilets. Lots of shade, benches, and picnic tables too!
Hard walking track around the outside of the oval makes it a great place to walk if the ground is soggy from the rain. Can take a dog on a leash. Really good playground and play equipment for young children. Exercise stations for older athletes.
Not a fan of the hard tennis courts, if your ok having kids on bikes on the other court distracting you and with other players constantly hitting the ball over your side of the court when you're trying to serve and have a proper game then this court is for you. Otherwise give another court a go. Definitely won't be back
Great park. So well located near the station, shops and public transport. This park has a large shaded area under high tree cover that suits small children for the excellent playground - suited best for younger children. Drink taps. Toilets. Table tennis table. Swings.
This park has been developed in the last few years. There's something for everyone. Spaces for family gathering with bbq facilities, basketball ring, flying fox, tennis courts, soccer, jogging, public toilet and parking. The only thing is that you need to pay for some of the amenities.
Wonderful park with lots of ammenities, can be a bit busy so pick and choose your time to visit.
Great local park! Has a cricket/rugby field, running track around the edge, tennis courts and kids play equipment
Great oval and parks for all ages. Suitable for walking around or young kids on bikes. Play area for all ages.
Excellent space - truly a tranquil oasis in the outskirts of bustling Turramurra. Learnt how to run here. Somewhat reminiscent of Amsterdam's Vondelpark or London's The Regents Park, there is truly something for everyone here! As residents, we are lucky to be in such close proximity!
Excellent park. Really is one of the best in Sydney. It has Tennis counts (you need to book and pay), full sized oval, great running path around it, easy parking, playground, flying fox, outside gym, table tennis, clean toliets and many benches. I recommend go on a weekday, weekends are packed.
Ideal public park. Excellent kids park, public tennis courts, flying fox, half court basketball, fenced cricket oval. Another wonderful public facility.
This is such a wonderful park. A lot of people come here for morning runs, or afternoon play/bbq etc. There are good tennis courts (u have to book in) and an Oval. A long walk and kids bike track. I do think the have lots of excercise meet ups in the park as well.
Kids love the flying fox and the hammock swings.
. Lots of trees and shade around if you are throwing a birthday party or gathering.
Only reason I am giving it 4stars is that the enclosed kiddie play area is a bit far away from the older kids play area. That means if u have a couple of kids of different ages, you have to run between the two areas or take another friend/family along. Found that a inconvinience. It would have been easier if they were closer, then mum/dads wont have to run about.: D.
But this is a mild inconvinience. Its a great park really!
Good playground for kids of all ages. There is an enclosed section with fence and tennis courts right next to the playground
Great Park for families with kids! Heaps of play areas, tennis courts, kids slide, cricket oval, bbq area and a quick outdoor basketball and table tennis area.
Park is great to talk your four legged friend for a walk too around the oval (on a leash) as per council rules stated.
A great park for everyone to enjoy. 2 separate play areas with equipment, one for toddlers which is fenced in. 4 tennis courts, 2 synthetic grass and 2 hard courts. 2 table tennis tables and outdoor exercise equipment as well as a full size oval.
Well maintained park. Oval, kids equipment, some basic fitness equipment. Good location. Could do with better lighting at night
Awesome spot for families, tennis courts, swings, outdoors workout set and sheltered bbq area.
There is also a footy/ cricket field with a footpath all around if you want to have a run
