Tumut Visitor Centre reviews
24One of the best info centres we have been to many times. Lovely friendly staff, very helpful, very knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. Great gifts and info and souvenirs. Tumut is a beautiful town.
Staff were extremely helpful and did everything they could to assist with what roads are open and what huts were assessable. Great job
Super helpful staff here who provided good local knowledge. Interesting local art exhibition on site too.
Hit day. Nice air conditioning. Clean amenities. Good little aboriginal art museum raising money and showing photography and artefacts. Good selection of food and touristy stuff.
Friendly staff with plenty of Nick Mack's to buy and advise to see what's on in local area
A lovely helpful person, lots of local knowledge and so welcoming. This delightful person engaged each person and found information relevant to them.
Good on ya! Wonderful!
Staff very helpful with information that we required.
Shop has loads of local themed things to buy and also information booklets and maps for most destinations in NSW
Every time I go to a new town I pop into a visitors Center to see what is available. This Center is amazing and the gentleman that was on duty on Saturday was very helpful and easy to talk to about our trip. Highly recommend you visit the Center
Awesome visitor centre. Very new with plenty of information on the local area. There is also an exhibition displaying some local artwork and indigenous history.
Extremely well appointed visitors centre supplying all local products. Excellent advice and maps available for the local area. Adjoining art centre was a lovely look see too.
Super helpful staff here who provided some local knowledge and advice! Interesting local art exhibition on site too.
Called on here and the lady who served us was excellent in pointing out all the places we should see and do
Lady was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the taxidermy - helped us to understand the birdlife we had seen. Was impressed with the gift store aspect - so much choice and quality goods.
Local tourist information plus an extensive gift shop, just the thing when you realise you forgot to get the missus a present!
This is a terrific and helpful information centre with friendly staff. Their shop showcases a good selection of local products and a separate display room for local arts. We gathered some useful material on the region to help plan an enjoyable three week holiday.
Fantastic place to stay, simple but clean and comfortable apartments. Friendly helpful staff that go the extra mile. Beautiful views, farm and wild life all around you and the resident pup Tyson is awesome. A home away from home and we can't wait to get back there.
Wonderful staff. Very informative. Passionate about their home town and surrounds. Recommend to visit if you need advice.
Always visit tourist info centre where available for great information and friendly service. This one no different
Was driven past the Tumut Visitors centre which I visited May last year. The centre was a nice place to visit to capture a broad array of the local residents handmade display and sales. The workers here are always happy to help with directions and sales. Today I also visited the community gardens with a family member who owns a garden plot. A beautiful way to spend a part of a sunny Sunday on the first day of a short holiday.
