Tumbalong Park reviews
34Been there for just a few times. My most favorite place to meet up and get yourself fresh or have a date.
There have been continuous developments in this park which is affecting its outlook. However, the kids park is good but too crowdy for a weekend.
A really cool park that’s right in the city! We where here during the Sydney winter festival so this space was extremely busy and filled with people and stuff going on!
Winter festival is happening at the moment, starting 8 June until 20 June.
Festive that can be enjoy for everyone, from winter festival food market, ice skating rings, ice slide and fire work at night every weekend and long weekend Monday 14 of June.
Tried porky’s roll, loaded schnitzel and koi dessert, and enjoyed the family firework around 9.15pm last night.
Festival with live music and performers
Food, mulled wine, beverages
Surly security at entry and exit. Lighten up people
Loved the winter festival that was hosted here. Love to see this park when cycling to work. So nice
This park and surrounding Darling Quarter us great for kids. Water feature they can run in, a big playground but also cafes, ice cream, restaurants. Wilson car park is $15 flat rate Saturday and Sunday but expensive on weekdays. Adjacent Chinese friendship garden is about $4-8 per person and looks really cool too.
What a park, wow, coming from a country town/ city to the big smoke my kids loved this park, and of course like in sydney there is a mac donald's there to, plus many cafes for mum/dad to get there morning wake up coffee. Kat
Beautiful park close ICC and Darling Harbour. There are restaurants, kids playground, Chinese Garden.
It is good place to see.
Always nice spot for families with children for walks, play and quick bite. It's Sydney's harbour theme park for a harbour cruise, souvenir shopping or visiting our water world or marine museums.
Walked past here and I was a joy to see kids having fun in the water. The area was pretty big with lots of activities to keep the kids entertained (park/ water).
The water activities are interactive and was clean. Really cool spot and well thought landscaping. Good to sit around to chill. Grass green areas and benches to hangout. Really nice open space
Great for little ankle bitters to run around, either a the water area or the park plenty of sitting area on the grass or under the umbrella but arrive early to secure a spot plenty of restaurants to chose from. Recommend for a quick stop off for the kids to let some steam out
Wonderful playground for kids, perhaps the best in Sydney center!
Great slides, swings, and an incredibly high spider web.
The park in here very beautiful and great! The children can play and improve some skills, you can go there to relax and play with children. I think the park is a nice place in Australia!
Amazing park where a lot of events take place. Fun things to do for children (playground, ponds etc).
There is also a lot of places to eat around, perfect for a family day out when sunny, especially if you have little ones.
It’s easily accessible as it’s a part of darling harbour, parking around could be an issue but you can always find some paid parking.
Tumbalong park is a huge open area between exhibition and conference buildings and city high rise. It is divided into zones of green, walkway and garden. The walkway allows huge numbers of people to move between Chinarown and the city in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with minimal traffic noise. The surrounding buildings are mirrored or sculpted to enhance the journey through. Bright flags, pools and small fountains divide the path and create an attractive experience on a huge scale.
A masterful balance of outdoor entertainment and restaurants. A good place to relax of an afternoon or to have a nice meal or a few drinks.
Amazing new facilities. Endless amounts of equipment to keep kids occupied. Exercise equipment, big sporting oval and a half court basketball court.
Great place to take the kids. They made a very good make over compared to what it initially was.
Bright open space, some water works and plenty of restaurants scattered about.
It's a visually appealing place to relax while listening to joyful laughter of kids in the background.
A great outdoor space in the heart of the city. Plenty of food and beverage options.lots of space for the kiddies and adults alike.
