True Property have been managing my properties since 2017, while I live overseas. I told Michael Catalano I was looking for a partner to help me expand my portfolio while I was away. Wishes granted, the team have been amazing.

Taylor Merillo is my current property manager. She is professional, so fast with everything I thought she probably had a dozen hands! Always cheerful and friendly, she exceeds my expectations in whatever she does.

Prior to Taylor, Antonella Longo and Cathan Forbes managed my properties. No words can describe how incredible they were.

I've worked with true property for over 10 years and they have been a pleasure to work with. Nansi is always happy to help and go above and beyond to organise keys for me, she really does apply excellent customer service at all times. Cannot recommend this team enough!

When it comes to Real Estate agents society has set the threshold for ethical behaviour and general human decency incredibly low, but these guys have managed to lower it even further.

True Property are the worst real estate agents I have ever had to deal with. Firstly, when our toilet was broken, they advised us to “use a bucket” while we waited for the problem to get fixed. I’m not from Elizabethan England, so that solution wasn’t practical for me.

Secondly, they claimed the broken dishwasher was our responsibility as tenants to fix, only to renege on that claim six months later, when it suited their purposes.

Thirdly, they tried to increase our rent during the pandemic, when rentals prices were plummeting. I say that they TRIED, because they ended up getting out-negotiated and reducing the rent.

Lastly, on leaving the property we went with the recommended cleaners which ended up costing $700 for a two-bedroom apartment, without carpet. Once that had been completed they continued to try and take as much of our bond as possible, with a myriad of ridiculous reasons, such as: a few light scratches across the floorboards costing thousands of dollars to fix because the entire flooring would apparently need to be removed…

The list could go on, but I don’t have time to detail the catalogue of dishonest and exploitative conduct, long response times, and general incompetence displayed, particularly by the “Senior” Property Manager that I dealt with.

If you are renting a property managed by True Property, please ensure you conduct a detailed condition report, noting down everything and anything that is not up to standard, with pictures as a reference. Protect yourself from these people. If you are a property owner I wouldn’t recommend going with them either. They have no regard for people’s time or money.

I rented an apartment from them, smooth and hassle free process. Got everything done within 2 days including inspections. Excellent service, very responsive and very professional service. Would definitely recommend them.

Moving and finding a new place to live is stressful at the best of times, the ease of this move and the communication Between Eden Farlow and the team at TrueProperty made it an absolute pleasure.
