Tranquillity Landscapes & Decking

Anthony and his team did a full landscaping job on all 4 sides of my new home. There were always new ideas and suggestions in how to work around problems. He always put a great deal of thought into the project. The team were always willing to work around other trades and dealt with the inconvenience of working down a right of way. I am so happy with how it has turned out, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Tranquility Landscapes have completed full landscaping, both front and back yards, at three of our homes. Their attention to detail combined with a modern approach to landscaping is the sole reason we are a return customer. Anthony works collaboratively with you to ensure that together you create an outdoor living space that is functional and highlights the beauty of your hone. Would highly recommend using Tranquility Landscapes.

I would like to start by saying I cannot comment on their actual abilities to build a deck. This review is not about their carpentry abilities. Please see explanation below.

From the get go, just a terrible experience with Tranquillity Landscapes. We were recommended these guys from Flower Power in September of 2020. While they visited my home to get measurements for a new deck, there was very little communication from them about even getting a quote. They reached out saying they have too much work and would I even like to go ahead with a quote. I said yes yet the quote never eventuated. The email that said “do you still want a quote” happened 3 times across 5 months and in the end I gave up.
Terrible communication, never delivered on any commitments and still no signs on a quote.
If they cannot get me a quote within 5 months of the first connection, I could not rely on them delivering a sound product within a set time frame.

They built a retaining wall between us and our neighbors. The engineer did not measure the height of the wall correctly. We had to pay for 2 extra rows of blocks and it is still not high enough. From our neighbors side it is finished and neat. What they left on our side was an open trench full of rocks with the advice to add some mulch and build a sunken garden. (see photo) Communication was poor and the owner is defensive and unprofessional when questioned. Be wary of the initial quote. We ended up paying thousands extra.

Anthony and the team at Tranquillity are complete professionals. The quality of their work speaks for itself and they are absolutely brilliant to deal with. After using them on multiple landscaping jobs, I'm always impressed by the results, the entire process is smooth & hassle free. I can confidently say I will continue using them for more work in the future. Anthony and his team from Tranquility have been fantastic right from the first inquiry we had. Within an hour Anthony was available to provide quotes for the work we required. When works commenced on our paving his staff were punctual and professional.
They did such a great job I utilised Tranquility to quote on and complete 3 other jobs.

Tranquillity Landscapes were very professional in completing our gardens in our unit block. Staff were always polite and job completed in agreed time with a great finish overall

It has been a pleasure working with the team at Tranquillity. All staff were courteous, obliging, friendly and took pride in their work. My job ran like clock work. Minimal disruption to my home and neighbours, attention to detail was always paramount and clean up excellent throughout the process and on completion.
I give my highest recommendation with regard to this experienced professional company.

The work involved, drainage, retaining wall, concreting paving in French pattern a large area around the pool and fencing. Also some rockery work. Technically they did a very good job, all levels turn out excellent. Have never had any drainage problems on the days of heavy rains. The retaining wall is very strong with a solid foundation.
The guy who did the french pattern paving did a great job. The guy who made the stairs out of rocks did a very artistic and sound work, beautiful steps, he made. The glass fence was perfect.
They took a while to get started in my place but once they did they turned up every day until the job was finished. I think their work deserves 5 star.
There are lots of important positives to overcome their few negatives. They were not too happy if I changed my mind about a design half way even though it did not cause any redoing. I was very particular and wanted things to look exactly as I wanted. Sometimes one needs to change one's mind about little things during the work in progress as only then one can see how things are turning out. I needed a bit more patience from him. In any case, he at the end appreciated and was very cooperative and nice about it.
I definitely recommend Tranquility Landscapes for works around the pool.

Tranquility Landscapes recently completed paving work in my yard and they did a fantastic job. The quality was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. The entire team was professional, hard working and friendly and they kept me across all of the progress so I knew was what happening at all times. I would definitely recommend!

On the whole pretty happy with our landscaping job. The garden looks nice and will only get better with time. One thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that plants were chosen for a shady spot instead of a sunny spot as it was forgotten that a small tree was being removed. We did have to dig up and move plants and replace with more sun-loving ones - not something I think we should have had to do. Otherwise all was good.

I highly recommend Tranquillity, quality of work is very high. Tranquillity recently completed decking for me.
Previously I had my garden designed & constructed wirh them. Sebastian did both jobs & I was delighted with the results.
Sebastian is very hard working, reliable, trustworthy & leaves things clean, neat & tidy.

Cant rate these guys high enough, the team that has completed two jobs at our house did an amazing job. The end result was amazing with our fire pit and surrounding pathways plus a new sandstone and brick verandah just looking stunning. Highly recommend their work.

Was promised a design quote within a week and the ability to commence work within 2 weeks on successful design acceptance.

Will avoid all forms of correspondence. After a month of chasing them down, design wasn't completed and was then told they could not take on anymore work for another 4-5 months.

Extremely poor communication from a company that doesn't have the decency to be honest about their current commitments and availability.

A simple message or phone call to indicate their position would've been appreciated and not wasted my time waiting for quotes.
