Worst auction experience I have ever had! I purchased a variety of items from the Leuralla estate, two of which had issues. The first item was missing and could not be found while the other did not make its reserve price (which I fully understand) but they did say I could contact the owner to offer them an amount that may be suitable. I contacted the store 8 times and each time they said that they "needed to discuss with the auctioneer" because they didn't have any details. In our final conversation, they said that the missing item was found but that the owner actually decided not to sell it, even though I won it fair and square and no information of the contrary was available at the time of bidding. It has been almost three months since the auction and still no resolutions made, at this point I have given up on the two dolls. If I could leave zero stars I would. How can you buy something at auction, have the hammer drop and then have the owner change their mind afterwards? I highly recommend staying away from this sham of an auction service!

Based on advice from Seniors Legal Service I will be making a formal complaint to Fair Trading about this business. Refuse to answer questions about money owing from previous auctions.

In December 2021 I Submitted for auction a number of items that my late husband had collected. Initially I received cheques and statements for the items sold at auction. Since Oct 2022, there is money owing to me and items that have not been sold. I have received no information about either from this company despite numerous phone calls and emails. I have found them untrustworthy and would never recommend them.

BEWARE! These guys are bad news. I have been waiting since July 2022 for any sort of accountability, let alone payment, from them for items I submitted for their auctions. Not for want of asking a number of times. They seem to have an arrogant disregard for customer service and ethical practice.

Purchased two locomotive kits off them, 2 tenders and most of the parts missing. Dishonest listing, item was not as described in the auction catalogue.

Dealing with lot has been a nightmare from the start. Items offered for auction were held for five months before going to auction. Payment for goods sold took over three months. Have requested that remainder of items be returned to me four months ago and still no sign of them. Excuses and lies all along. Would never deal with them again.

Have been a long time customer through their on-line auctions. Interesting selection of items, often let down by poor or wrong descriptions, far too few photos, and inconsistant packing, sometimes leading to damaged goods through the post.

There original store in Mt Victoria was great. There second store in Blackheath had less inventory but was still ok. I don't know what there new store here in Katoomba is like as i haven't been in here yet.

Great place to go. The only difference between men and boy's, is the price of their toy's.

Absolutely appalling customer service and incompetent management of the sale of goods from start to finish - 2 months past the auction from the sale of my goods I am still chasing money from the sales and have written numerous emails left multiple voicemails and been told a number of times the cheques were being sent/the money is being deposited into an account even by the owner himself. I would not recommend using the Auctioneer services it is a complete inconvenience and unorganised process.

I offered a number of lots for auction, some were sold and was told that the remainder would be offered at subsequent auctions. In spite of repeated emails, a visit when I was told that that they had a backlog, and two further letters documenting my position they have never responded to me.

Very disappointing.

Watching the monthty auctions live is always fascinating and often entertaining, the vendors often chuckling between lots.
