Towradgi Beach Hotel reviews
46I'm disgusted. I ordered a cheese and garlic pizza and substituted the cheese for vegan cheese. So, I spent an extra $4 for vegan cheese that stunk like it came from a tip. The pizza was soggy and tasted like smelly undies. I can't get over it, I just spent $20 only to have a bite and leave it aside. Still hungry and dissatisfied. Not to mention the fish all crammed in a small tank and no vegan options in this day and age. Won't be returning.
Atmosphere was great with kids area, sports bar and lots of tables inside and out. Pizza was standard and although said woodfired seemed like it was cooked without woodfire.
Came to watch a band play no complaints everything was great drinks at a fair price spent a bit of money
This is a great family friendly place for lunch or dinner. There is a wide variety of outdoor and indoor seating, and the space is used well. Great for big groups or just a few. The food is good, service friendly. The only down side is that sometimes you have to wait a while on your food but that's usually because it's busy.
I cant belive such an amazing place and the food is good but i have to say its one the worst pizzas i have ever had. The cheap BBQ sauce used on it kills it, the dough they use is terrible of they had someone to show them ot would lift the place up even more, they have an amazing oven to cook it but the whole pizza is a let down, Everything is amazing at this venue but as a pizza lover it was very very bad.
Massive place well presented and a good atmosphere. However the food let's it down, none of us where happy with our meals, all the sauces tasted like mass produced fake stuff, steak was grisly. If the kitchen picked up its game would be 4 stars.
Really nice place to come for an afternoon drink or some food. Good place to bring the kids as there is a little playground for them.
Waited 40 minutes for a passionfruit cocktail jug that tasted like soda water. Never written a bad review before but there was no apology when we told them we had been waiting quite a while when they were making cocktail jugs for other people. Also sat at a table and was told we had to move as it was reserved for a big group which was fine but then they let another couple sit there.poor management and pretty disappointed with the service.
Great place for a steak and a beer at pub prices. Holiday style atmosphere for locals like me.really impressive aquarium inside. Covid Safe if you follow the policies.
The female at the check in was very rude and dismissive when I had problems with my Q code check in. She allowed several people to check in even after I was there first. She repeatedly kept saying wait a second. She said she could not check me in and REFUSED to get the manager as I requested. Another lady appeared and checked me in a few seconds. I reported her rudness and poor attitude to the manager Jacob, who said he would deal with her. The steaks my friend and I had were not cooked as requested and were tough. We both took half of the steaks home to our dogs.
Security are a joke. Waited 45 minutes in the line to get in at 5pm, only to get to the front and notice the security are going to grab groups of girls from the back of the line to take in first rather than the group of guys who were in front of me. When I asked the security about this, he shrugged me off and kept doing it. Have heard other awful stories about the same security guard grabbing people aggressively when not needed.
Haven’t been to Towradgi Hotel in about 3 years and was amazed by the change with the renovations. Absolutely loved it. Didn’t want to leave. The ambience was so relaxing. Can’t want to go back
4 stars mainly for the fantastic member of staff Ben H. He was so friendly and welcoming, whereas some of the other staff were pretty rude with no customer service skills whatsoever which ruined our experience a bit. Food wasn’t bad, maybe a little overpriced (fries were $7 and pretty small) but the decor was also really nice. Also recommend coming during the afternoon for happy hour 3-6, pints for the price of schooners!
Stopped here on the way home. The place was nice. Clean. Bar girl was a bit rude. The play area was good but we went for a schnitzel and they didn't have them so we ended up not eating as we couldn't really find anything we would eat.
A fresh, vibrant place to relax and have lunch, or a drink and let the kids enjoy the playground.
Over priced since the renovations. Feels like an attempt to Pepe's on the beach. They don't have your general tap beers that you find at a pub. A bit annoying.
Place was clean and fresh. Pizza's were good! Nice playground for the kids. Good casual spot to eat.
OK, basic food no care taken, entrees and mains came at same time, long wait for drinks and ordering, don't hang around too late atmosphere changes, left earlier than anticipated due to this, Decor is good.
Food OK. Toilets discussting. Little effort spent cleaning up. Recent visit 27 Feb 2021. What a joke. Waiting 40 to 50 minutes each time for a drink at any of the bar areas. Not enough staff and poorly trained staff. Not a place to visit if you want a quiet drink or a drink at all. Management needs to get their act together.
Get's very crowded on the weekend's. Has a great vibe and also a really nice atmosphere for pub grub. The pizzas are really good, and a wonderful place for meeting up with friends and family.
