Toukley Aquatic Centre

Learn to swim program for kids is awesome. My boys were scared of water initially and use to stay next to the wall only in the small pool. Now, seeing them in the big pool on the deep end swimming, back floating, playing, enjoying makes me happy and I know they are safe. The program, teachers, and staff are competitive and would recommend this aquatic centre to everyone living on the coast.

Nice pool. Not keen on individual mixed gender changing rooms. Was better with separate male and female change rooms.

Toukley Aquatic centre has the best fitness program in Australia the hydro pool fitness programme is outstanding for young and old the instructors go above and beyond to help people achieve their fitness level also it offers fitness training in other sections of the pool deep water fitness also a stretch and flex program it is has brought my fitness level to a point that I would never of dreamed I could achieve thank you Karen Flaherty

Toukley Aquatic Centre has good facilities but has very rude office staff. I came in on 02/11/22 at 4: 25 pm. I took my kids to a swimming lesson and on entry, I asked about an activity that was happening on the weekend (inflatable on the pool), the lady won't look at me, and the answers were "Nope" or "I don't know". Zero interest to explain an activity that is helping in the facility that she's the receptionist. This is just unacceptable behaviour and horrible customer service!
That's a typical interaction from the staff at the reception here in my experience. I've been here for many months and every time the office staff act like they are doing you a favour by taking your cash and letting you enter.

Very sad people, unfortunately, spreading negative vibes around what is otherwise a nice facility.

On the other hand, swim instructors are amazing and do a great job, the kids are always excited about their lessons each week.

The hydrotherapy therapy pool is great for anyone recovering after surgery. Heated and plenty of space. Great timetable for early rises and part time workers who need to go before or after work. Highly recommend. Lap pool also good for a light swim or a long session.

Good facility but very rude staff. Came in Sunday 30/10/22 0930. Asked to use the warm pool at the back to have a swim with my 18 month old daughter. Was told by the woman at the desk "Nup".

The lady was mean and rude and then wouldn’t let us use the jump in blocks to practice driving and was really rude

This turned out to be better than I thought for a local pool. Accessed the hydro pool with a disability client. Its lovely!

Worst Aqua class in ever, teacher yells, shouts extremely loudly like participants are SAS soldiers in a war zone, not use microphone, excessive loud shouting off putting, makes class intolerable

Been revamped cosmetically since the shut down. Water was warm for June. Best aqua aerobics coach (Darren) good for stiffness and more gentle exercise or go as hard as you like.

Really nice staff and great clean facility. The Bathrooms are modern and has lockers. The Hydrotherapy pool is great and the people in the pool were friendly and civil.

Wonderful little local indoor pool, clean and well mannered/friendly staff. Even the coffee isn't too bad. Reasonable prices, pleasing early 90's nostalgia

We love swimming here, but today was pretty busy. They had 4 lanes closed off for lap swimmers, (and when we arrived not one person using any if these 4 lanes). Actually we were there nearly 2 hours and that whole time only 2 people used these lanes. This meant at least 20 recreational swimmers were all crowded into an area the size of 2 lanes. Why? There was no way to social distance and we were forced to basically stay in the same area until people started leaving. Give priority to the swimmers who are already there please, not the ones who might come.

The staff here have no idea what is going on - you get told different things depending on which staff member you speak to. The lady I spoke to today apologised to me for being given wrong information and said we have new staff so if myself, Kim or Karyn are not giving you the information then it’s might not be correct because we have new staff here - I explained this is not my fault and no where I’m the Center does it state this nor on any paperwork. Then after 20mins of talking to her I had to say I’m not arguing with you and you admitted I have been given wrong information she say’s I never said that yet 15/20mins earlier she apologised to me for being given wrong information and she could see each week I went in what was happening. Train your staff properly, don’t blame your patrons for being given the wrong information from your staff and own up to your faults. If you ever talk to anybody here ask for Kim or Karyn because anyone else you talk you might give you wrong information then it’s your fault. As I was waiting there a lifeguard came up and told a lady she could swim in the hydrotherapy pool then the lady I was talking to said no the lifeguard came in the office and told her it can be done they got the timetable out and the lifeguard was correct so this lady was giving out wrong information in front of me but telling me to only talk to her, Kim or Karyn as they give the correct information out - what a joke! I would never go to this place.

Really rude staff. Sitting quietly in the hydro pool for my leg. My 12 year old son was with me sitting quietly and we were chatting. Anout five other people in the pool and the supervisor told us my son had to leave as he was over 6 year old and under 18. What the. Just simply due to his age? Just terrible. Shame on you.

I love it now that it has been done up with unisex showers so hubby and I can go in together it was clean and staff friendly

Very Quiet and the staff are friendly and totally professional. I travelled from Sydney and took my 3 year old Grandson and will certainly be returning
