Totem Road

Beautiful products, well made with great sustainable packaging. The Totem Road team were very helpful in sorting out a few post-sale challenges we had relating to dispatch and delivery. Getting things resolved is equally important to having quality products. A special thank you to both Jen and Deanna.

No slats came with bed, been living off a mattress in house in living room. Warehouse won’t send new slats and keeps deferring to courier with no clear answers as to when we will actually have a complete bed. Extremely poor considering combined spend of $7000 on this retailer.

Edit - it’s been a week since the below post and we still have no slats. We ordered this bed to arrive ahead of our move. As it stands we have unpacked everything we can but due to the bed we cannot move the cot into the nursery, the kids shelves are in the living room and the house remains a mess. Initial loss in transit, sure. How about an express courier of a new set?

Gave my details to a sales person for her to do me a quote for something. Big mistake. Have been harassed ever since by email and text message and cannot contact the company back by phone or email. Should be illegal and will NEVER purchase anything from them.

Purchased Lagos Bead Frame. Really happy, solid construction, excellent customer service. Love the low profile, clean/fresh timber feel, beautiful quality timber, easy assembly. All packaging recyclable.
Even got a phone call to see if we were happy with the product a few weeks later! Would be nice to have the option to select a slightly taller bed head as many modern deep/plush mattresses are really thick and this doesn’t leave much of the lovely timber grain detail of the bed head exposed (we found this out the hard way!) but other than that we are really happy! Would definitely purchase mire furniture from Totem Road in future. Also feels much nicer to buy something solid and sustainable from a small business rather than from a larger retail where the quality often doesn’t last.

Excellent customer service and quality products. I got the Lago bed and bedsides. They look great and easy to install. The delivery men was very helpful, they carried the heavy cartons up the spiral staircase.

Exceeded expectations, love the design, great solid sustainable timber, easy to assemble and it looks so good.
