Toronto Lions Park Playground reviews
9This park was fun for my kids. Bbqs and undercover seating are there. Public toilets close by. The most dissapointing part was the fisherman tossed the carcasses of sharks and fish right in the shallow water by the shore. Beautiful place with a great view, ample seating and picnic tables.
Nice but needs lots of maintenance, also need to ban smoking, picked up over 30000 cigarettes butts in a month
It's a very large open flat park with a playground, bbq area, boat ramp, covered seating area and lots of parking.most amenities are located on the foreshore with the large open park located between the road running through the park and the main road.if you are bringing young kids to the open park area to play adult supervision is highly recommended due to the easy access to the main road, upright logs/posts seperate most areas instead of secure fencing.the markets were usually held here on sundays before covid and large signs used to be erected near the main road notifying people when they were on.i'm sure the council post the dates online.the park stops at the southern end of the fennel bay bridge.there is a small walking track that goes under here but it doesn't go far and is mainly used by fishermen.people often dump rubbish and large household objects near the bridge.
Lovely place for a picnic and for walking the dog. There is play equipment and under cover tables and seats. Set right by the lake. A boat ramp is available for small boats and watercrafts. Beautiful place to relax, canoe, kayak or even paddle board.
Lots of picnic benches around and also a bbq area as well with a covered gazebo. Nice to have the children's playground right next to the lake. Quiet and pretty clean and also lots of parking available.
We usually drive up to Lions Park Toronto for a picnic on Sundays from Gosford as it's a beautiful place and it's right next to the water.
Nice little park in a good position. It has a toilet block and there is a boat ramp and quite a few benches. Even one under cover. Great place to have lunch on a weekend. Very popular for small car shows. It also has a monthly market that is worth taking a look at.
Great little place for a nice family lunch and a great place to let the little children run and play
