Three Bears Cafe reviews
24A quiet place to enjoy good food and great customer service. The museum is a nice treat too with a small shop to purchase items.
Absolutely disgusting food. Wasn’t able to eat it. I ordered Zucchini & corn fritters. They were flat tasteless no filling no corn or zucchini to be found & to top it off they were burnt. Give this place a miss & don’t waste your money.
No kitchen, so only suitable for decent pastries. However, there is a beautiful view near the lake!
Excellent. Food, service & atmosphere. All excellent. A great team.
Beautiful outlook over the park & lake.
We just had flat white coffees and we were very satisfied. The coffee flavour was a strong medium roast with very nice chocolate and nut flavours. I’d go back if I was passing through again.
Love this cafe, especially the pet parking! Such a clever idea. Stunning views of the lake and tree filled surrounds.
Really terrible coffee! I took it back to the counter as it was so weak, no crema, colour or taste. The young lady dumped a half shot glass of coffee (that had been sitting near the espresso machine) into our cups. Disgraceful.
Not recommended.
Great service and yummy food I had the rueban and the coffee was good and next door to a great cultural experience at the Museum of Art and Culture (MAC) Lake Macquarie yapang
It is a great little cafe to grab a coffee or some food while enjoying the view of the lake or take in some of the art both inside and outside of the building. You can take a stroll along the forsehore or simply sit down and relax while enjoying the view of the lake. The is also a large stretch of lawn and some seating outside the south eastern part of the building which you can enjoy as well.
The location Is great and the food was good. I was a little disappointed that there was nothing with eggs on the menu as they are such a breakfast staple.
All they serve is bowls of porridge! You get three choices! Too Hot. Too cold, or Just Right.
If you eat any of them an angry bear chases you out.
Do not recommend.
Great coffee, affordable and tasty menu with a decent selection, super friendly staff and quick service. AND a fabulous view of the lake and sculpture garden!
V. Nice place because of the super friendly staff and great menu and coffee. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas morning tea 3 bears.
A fabulous breakfast this morning at Three Bears Kitchen. Moroccan Eggs were absolutely delicious and poached egg cooked perfectly. The staff, as always very friendly, efficient and welcoming. Coffee at Three Bears never disappoints. A great visit! I highly recommended this restaurant.
Went here for breakfast on recommendation and Three Bears Kitchen did not disappoint!
Such a beautiful, homely interior- coupled with a great variety of meals to choose from as well as lovely customer service!
Average experience, somber staff, noisy, dirty toilets rooms, walls and hallways, chai tea only warm, had to ask for water. Breakfast food good.
Very friendly staff. Welsh buck is good for brekky and windows are good for watching the trams.
What an amazing place for food and coffee. Friendly Staff at such an easy location. Met the owners Tony and Vicki that make you feel most welcome. Vicki is the head chef and does an amazing job with fulfilling your every culinary request. Apart from the great food and coffee, you never seem to wait too long for your order. We are so lucky to have such amazing cafes and restaurants in the CBD of Newy, but 3 Bears located in Market Square across from the Post Office is an absolute gem. Congrats guys love the decor full of history as well.
We visited today on a public holiday. Unfortunately a long wait for food. Luckily we had a bubbly waitress who kept us topped with coffee and chai whilst we waited first outdoors then in. Okay value for the price but not outstanding. Has the potential.
