I arrived at 7: 56am to a locked door claiming “we shut the door right on start time”- so almost 5 mins early. If I had known I had to be 10mins early I would of planned accordingly.

This is a great warm yoga studio (29 degrees). Norma is one of the yoga teachers, and she is really good. But all the teachers are good!

Great place for your yoga practice. I've been coming for the last 2 months and enjoy all the classes. No judgement - you can go at your own pace and level. I love the heated room as it makes me feel like I've done a workout.

They're my local yoga spot and I've done over 10 classes already. Efficient, clean and well trained instructors. I walk out of there in a changed state every time. Thank you wonderful TIY

I’ve re-started my yoga practice ant This Is Yoga Clovelly and am absolutely loving the classes and teachers. Vinyasa flow is challenging but filled with amazing breath work, and Yin is the perfect way to close off the week.

I have been practicing at TIY for about a year and it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience! I was hesitant to join as someone who has never practiced before but it is such a welcoming environment for beginners. The teachers, the studios, and the classes are always fantastic, as well as the communication from the info email team.

I’d put off doing yoga for years, 1. Because I’m like a robot, 2. Because I had a pre convinced idea of what it would be like, and I didn’t like that idea.but I was very wrong.
The team have been great, the environment is very friendly and engaging! I couldn’t recommend more, especially for building core and flexibility as part of a rehab from injury.

I’m currently on the intro pass with ‘this is yoga’. Thoroughly enjoying it. I love all the different instructors.

I like the ambience of the studio. Toilets are clean. They also have disinfectant wipes and sprays so you can wipe your mats down.

There’s a nice vibe.

Today I had a really nice class with Carla McMillan, Thursday 18th March, 9: 30am class.

However, I’m a bit biased as she was the instructor I’d met before signing up and I had a lovely chat with her that also influenced my decision.

Loved the way she explained the biomechanics of the body and demonstrated what we would do before the class, and the actual flow of the class.

Super rude yoga instructor. I think her name was Ange. My first time coming to class and I did not feel welcomed at all. No customer skills whatsoever. Tried to make me feel stupid about not bringing my own mat, when classpass did not specify to do so. Will not be returning or recommending this place.

Me and my friend who I brought came to this studio for the first time, my friend has never actually done yoga before. We were greeted with the most rudest teacher possible, making us feel bad that we didn’t come prepared with a mat. We booked through class pass where there is no mention of bringing our own equipment. She was super rude to my friend before I got there and then started being rude to me, for someone who practices and teaches yoga, wouldn’t say this is very zen. I recommend you notify class pass to tell future first timers to bring mats so they don’t get treated rude on arrival. Poor communication and extremely bad taste.

Absolutely love this place! I only went to 3 classes, with 3 different teacher's and loved all of them! The room is nice, their voice and guidances during the class absolutely great, the flow. Just all really nice! I came back telling my bf how much I love it there, just as I would have felt freshly in love ;)! Stay safe & healthy!

Just want to say what an life-changing experience it has been attending classes at This is Yoga, Randwick the last couple of months. I am really loving it! The teachers are exceptionally skilled and so down to earth! I am always greeted with a warm smile. I am not at all intimidated but feel totally welcome to try new moves, push myself and take breaks when I have to. I have arthritis and I am learning new things about my body and how strong I actually am! I leave every class feeling invigorated and happy. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Randwick This is Yoga for almost 2 years now, I have to move soon and I found a flat in randwick just so I can keep going to my yoga classes hah, I love all classes and all teachers, I find classes challenging and all the teachers excellent, I’m 35 and I never felt and looked better, thank you This is Yoga!

I love, love, love This Is Yoga in Randwick. I've spent a lot of time in yoga studios in the East, in the City and the Lower North Shore. And for me, This Is Yoga in Randwick can't be beaten. The room is amazing, and the mood is perfect for shedding your busy work self and dropping in for some zen. But you will be pushed. And that's just the way I like it. You will earn so much about yourself in the classes taught by some of the best I have practiced with. Plus there is so much on offer around the studio. Being in the heart of The Spot in Randwick, you can easily grab a bite to eat or even catch a flick post yoga. I have been away from the area recently, but now that I'm back I can't wait to re-instate my practice at This Is Yoga.

I visited this studio for a free yoga class, and I absolutely loved it. Despite how busy it was, the vibe was so calming and welcoming. The class was a bit challenging for me as a beginner but I walked away feeling invigorated and inspired to practice yoga more often!

Beautiful studio with great teachers. Classes cater to all levels of yogis from beginners to advanced.

This is definitely my favorite yoga studio in the area. I love how each class has a different twist depending on who the instructor is. Go to a class with Norma for a full body workout! The only drawback about this studio is that some hours, usually the 5: 15 pm class gets really busy, so get there early. Love the month passes as I travel a lot and cannot commit to 4 months usually.

This is yoga became my sanctuary when life was extremely stressful. The space is lovely and every instructor is very experienced. I know I can look forward to a great practice and come away refreshed every time. An injury from moving house a few times is the only thing that has stopped me being there as I wait for it to heal. I’ll definitely be going back.

Love this space! Peaceful studio and energetic, challenging practice guided by expert instructors, each with their own focus and flow to provide variety between classes. Highly recommended)
