Thirroul District Community Centre And Library reviews
9Enjoy modern jazz and even funky jazz, horn, bass and keyboard, at this community library. Sit, read, listen. The library is a fertile room for study, deep reading and just sheer enjoyment. Ask the children who giggle and swoop. The jazz is on the first Saturday of the month. From my last visit: This little oasis, a fun library with knowledgeable staff, is a gem under the big fig tree. Children's books, puzzles, colouring pencils and crayons abound in a quiet corner. Great stuff.
A great local library, especially like all the events such as jazz in the library Workshops also excellent.plus, on top of that you can even borrow books.for free!
Extremely loud and distracting library.i come to the library for peace and quiet and there are groups of people clapping singing and using instruments? Not ideal.would get more done in a busy shopping mall on a saturday afternoon
Visited the ART exhibition in the community center, was lovely with a variation of degrees of painting. Library right next door. With a lovely little coffee shop beside it. Train station very very close to make the excursion so much easier as parking is not always the best. The meet the artist event was outstanding. All the work that goes into organisation is huge. Access for wheelchairs. The coffee Shop should be open when there is a weekend event.
Neat little library with lovely staff. My little one loved every minute of being there with many activities set out to ready to go. Very clean!
Words words words. Do you like words? I like words. I use them all the time. And if you’re seriously into words, then you should try out this handy-dandy place. It’s got them in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Pretty much any combination of words you could think of exist right here right at the palm of your hands. So get your daily dose of words from the word used place that is world renowned for words!

One of the best library centers in illawarra area. They have a lot of facilities and programs for everyone from babies to seniors. Good for anyone who wants to have a quite read/ work in a serene place. They have a cafe in the building as well.
