We have experienced exceptional service at TFK. The clinicians working with our child are engaging, creative, and really work to our child’s strengths to achieve the best outcomes. So glad we found them:)

Wonderful experience with TFK, who helped our son achieve significant physical gains. A high-standard, comprehensive service. I 100% recommend TFK.

My daughter has been going here for not even 6 months and she has met some pretty amazing milestones. My daughter only sat up and bum shuffled a little she now bears weight on her legs, walks with a trolley still gaining her confidence and even crawls. They have met every goal we have aimed for in our intensive programs. Ignore any previous posts about being money obsessed they are results driven, if they see progress they want you to build on that. If I could do more sessions and more intensives I would just to get more progress. I never thought I’d see this day. Previously was at a different physio and they failed her, TFK never did. They will never truly understand how much hope they have given me.

We attended both therapy for kids and moving mountains. Would probably edge towards moving mountains, only because staff seem a little older with more experience. Also there seems to be less staff turnover there.

TFK have become our family. My daughter Angelina took her first steps at 3.5 years old during her first intensive program. Deb and her staff each believed in Angelina and her abilities to improve and want her to progress. This is so important - I don’t expect miracles but just want someone to say “I know what the medical profession has said but we will do our best to help her reach her potential “. I can recall the first time I met Deb, how fearful I was of intensive therapy and not knowing what to expect but her nurturing to make sure I felt safe was so important. We returned to TFK for Angelinas regular therapy thereafter and remain there. Our children all have bad and good days at therapy but the key here is “not to give up” and these guys don’t give up on us. They will consider all the possible options to assist Angelina in her progress. If one way doesn’t work they will try another. I can’t thank them enough. All we ask for as parents is a little bit of hope and someone who will help and believe our child will reach their best potential whatever that may be.

Fantastic, very professional service. I was able to get an appointment quickly for my 10 week old baby. Amy was very professional and addressed my concerns. She has provide me with a clear plan of how to continue therapies at home. Highly recommended. Fees are a bit pricey but what do you expect for such a good service. Thoroughly worth it.

My feelings are quite mixed about this place because all of the therapists I have dealt with (three) have been fantastic, but all of them have left over the last year so I feel there are serious retention issues. It's difficult for young children to understand why their therapist is constantly changing and this disrupts their progress, and so I feel much greater attention needs to be paid to this side of the practice.
My contact with the manager/owner has been minimal but I can see why there are retention issues. Apart from a very patronising manner to staff, clients and their parents, fees have gone up enormously while facilities have declined. The move to temporary premises has not been managed smoothly and has gone on much longer than anticipated, and communication about this has been poor. It seems a bit rich to raise fees significantly while facilities are so much worse than at the previous location. I would question whether some of the facilities meet the building code, for example with the toilet being located within the same airspace as, and quite audible from, the staff kitchen! Also, they have not bothered to get their HICAPS machine working for the entire time they've been at the new site so parents have to make their health insurance claims themselves.
In theory, it's great to have a place that offers so many therapies tailored to children all in the one place, and you may still find you need to come here because there's not much competition, but it's disappointing that management can't provide a pleasant enough working environment to retain their therapists long-term, and also that parents are being charged so much while facilities are currently so poor.

I used to work there full time. I didn't last very long and here is why: the owner was very rude to myself and every single one of the other employees. She doesn't treat anyone with respect. They were paying myself and other employee's different rates, even if therapists were 3 or 4 years out of university. If you ever want to bring your child to a therapist do not go here. They will rip you off. It isn't worth the risk either for you or your child's health as there is actually asbestos in the whole of the workplace, in which they actually know about it but don't bother to remove it. They have known for a bit over a year now. There are poor kids with disabilities who should not be around an environment like this. Management alone are absolutely disgraceful, who treat us like we are a piece of dirt on the ground. If you are a new employee they will pick on you for every little thing and not train you at all even though it says on their job application that they do, they also have stated before that they will pay you above minimum wage.is $10 an hour above minimum wage? I don't think so!

We have just started coming here for treatment using our NDIS plan. They have helped with getting this set up (which has not been easy) and provided wonderful therapy for my child who has cerebral palsy.

I have been taking my daughter here for a couple of years on and off. The team helped get my little one walking and have provided check-ups since then. I was desperate to get someone to help when I first started coming and they were a great help and a very professional private practice.

Really, really disappointed with how the service from the business side has declined over time.
While I get that they have a business to run, management have on a number of occasions been blatant about the importance of making money that has left a sour taste in my mouth. Very disappointing, as the individual therapists have been great in our experience.

Debbie and the team at Therapies for Kids are excellent. I would definitely recommend parents come here if their child needs OT/physio.
My daughter, who has a developmental disorder, has had several sessions. Her balance and walking improved noticeably after the first session, and has continued to improve with each session!

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience at this practice. I was charged an enormous amount for an assessment and then asked for an addition $100 for a report to share with our school. Left with no understanding of the issues or strategies to manage in the home. The focus was getting us in for sessions every week and taking our money.

We absolutely loved Therapies for Kids and everything it stands for. We attended an intensive therapy session for my 21 month old who couldn’t balance and wasn’t walking or doing all the “normal” baby activities. Debbie and her Team had our son walking within 3 days and shared with us the tools and knowledge we need to continue with an at home program. Their communication in the two months that have passed has been equally amazing as we live remote and can’t visit on a regular basis. We look forward to the year ahead of Skype consults and a couple more visits to continue development for our son. We also find the team extremely approachable, humble and kind.
Do not hesitate to get in contact with the TFK team, they are nothing short of amazing.

Recent experience with them has left a lasting impression. My daughter has been going there for 2.5yrs but recent attrition levels have spiked with staff churn a massive concern and disruptive with her progress. Little communication/feedback has been borderline amateur with another clients confidential notes sent to me in error. Felt like their goals are more aligned to making money rather then helping kids. VERY disappointing.
