The Wash Up

Modern, clean and well maintained facility. A great place to get your washing done or even a dog washed with fresh, clean towels.

I am very impressed with the cleanliness & the modern & powerful washing machines (2 sizes, medium & huge washing machines) & dryers. Food& coffee vending machine are available. How cool is that? !

Love coming here to dry my clothes, nice and clean place. Workers are constantly cleaning the place very well. Only bad thing is the drink machine when the can drops it’s too rough and makes the can drinks fizz up when you open it.

I am an occasional visitor to Albury and use laundromats regularly. Having said this, I must say The Wash Up definitely has a better business model. It is CLEAN, has plenty of space while you wait and then fold up your washing afterwards.
The part that I would like to is the pet area, completely separate from the main washers and driers, where you can wash the pet blankets and even better.wash and dry your. And no, I do not have a dog, I do recognise a good

Good machines. Clean. Big space with plenty of machines. Dog wash machines seperate. The man who owns the place was there cleaning the machines, which is always a good sign.

They increased the price for a wash and the dryers function for less minutes per dollar now. Unfortunately, this laundromat is emblematic of the deterioration of manners, goodwill and values amongst Australians. Nobody offers salutations (hello, etc). Everyone stands around awkwardly. Many stare at persons of colour. One time, I was doing a three-point turn in the carpark (small and tricky to navigate when full), about to depart, when another car entered the carpark, which is open (not walled, very visible from the streets). Why not accord the driver who is performing the three-point turn time to complete the three-point turn? For the sake of general safety? It is time to get Australians talking to each other. And yes - you need to erect signs in the carpark to remind users to give and take.

Great little laundry mat, was able to wash my clothes here, machines didn't take for ever and everything was clean, overall if i ever come back to albury I'd come here again if i needed to do my washing.

Always use this business for my dog's wash.
Love the fact there are towels there to help with the drying.

Slightly expensive compared to others we have used, property very clean and ample off-street parking

A bit pricey in my opinion. The facilities are clean and you are able to use card to purchase tokens for the machines if you don't have coins. $7 will get you 24 minutes in the smallest machines, which can fit two loads. For the drying machines $1 will get you 7 minutes. There is a soap dispenser and a vending machine as well, however we couldn't get the vending machine to work.

The laundry machines seem clean, the small washing machines cost 7 tokens which you need to buy from the machine in the walls. There are also plenty of dryers stacked, which is 1 token for 7 minutes and 1 token for 5 minutes for the larger dryers. Each small washing machine can hold up to 2 laundry baskets while the dryers hold 3 baskets. There are some larger machines that can do up to 3 to 6 baskets but they cost more. They also sell laundry detergent if you didn't bring some but always reccomend bringing your own. They have some seats near both exits, which are 4 seats available at each position. Just make sure you take everything out of the machine so you don't forget and always check. There is a pet washing next door, which is nice.

Very convenient laundromat, used a large commercial washing machine/dryer to do 2 large loads of washing and did it with no problems. I’ll use again if I’m travelling in the albury/wodonga area.

Get your FACTS straight & have the decency to call & make a complaint instead of choosing the COWARDS way and bad mouthing me & giving an unfair rating to a business that doesn’t deserve it

Fact 1. Yes I was there washing motel linen & yes I had 5 machines.
WHERE THE SIGNAGE THAT SAYS THAT MOTEL/BUSINESSES CANT USE THE LAUNDROMAT?

Fact 2. You should have politely asked instead of trying to use stand over me with your height & size to intimidate me & bully me into handing over a machine (you messed with the wrong woman to try & bully & intimidate) Yes I am extremely proud of never backing down to individuals who try to bully me

Fact 3. You also forgot to mention in your review “You actually told a person that had she should use a smaller machine” the 2 machines they were using, my loads were actually finished & they asked politely & I gave them unlike you

Fact 4. Any regular user that knows me will acknowledge I do actually always share the machines & dryers.

Fact 5. The Wash Up opens at 5: 30am & closes around 10pm go early or later in the evenings as I have done for past 3 years.

Fact 6. The Wash Up is fantastic place to do laundry, it’s clean, spacious & the owners & staff are 2nd to none & deserve a plus rating.

Don't go there you will come across a washzilla who has over 5 machines running from a motel doing commercial Washing who abuses people who ask to borrow one machine so they can wash blankets for a small family we went there to wash clothes not be abused

It is very clean, the machines are not old and I highly recommend it.

The only problem is the customers.
I am very disappointed by customers who use the dryer and leave it unattended and do not show up on time, especially during the winter season when everyone comes to use the dryer. This is not your dryer. If every single person used the dryer on time, there would be no waiting time.

One of the best laundromats I’ve ever been to. As a travelling family this ticked all our boxes. Extra Large washers and dryers, change machine plus everything was clean. A credit to the owners

I like it, I just use the dryers, never have to wait as there are a lot of machines, they work great, it's a nice roomy well kept laundrymat.
