Amazing staff, food and spot, we sat outside this morning and had the Greek breakfast and smashed avo and the whole experience was fab. Very cheap considering how good it is and how filling the meals are!

Stopped for takeaways while driving.

So glad that we stumbled across this cafe in Newcastle, because this was the best breakfast I had in my recent trip to Sydney. Having planned to drive directly from Port Stephens to Sydney, we decided to make an unplanned stop to check out Newcastle along the way, and boy this cafe did not disappoint! Not only was service fantastic, but the food was so satisfying. Sweet corn fritters was my personal favourite, and the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict with avocado and sweet potato fries was so amazing. This is definitely a popular spot amongst locals! We were the only asian tourist there, who didn't know when to place our food orders. "We usually have coffee first, then order" said a nice lady serving us that day.

I reckon if a cafe is full of people, then it is a sure sign that it’s a good one - which is why I decided to stop here when looking for a potential breakfast spot this morning.
I was not disappointed. I was spoilt for choices from the menu, but I opted for the Spanakopita toast. The flavour was amazing. Coffee was perfect. The service was so warm that I felt like I was a part of the family.

So pleased we stopped in for brunch. Had the first breakfast item on he menu. Think it's called the Greek breakfast with haloumi, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and not in your mouth slow cooked Lamb. Sourdough toast and a few other things. It's delicious. A must try. My daughter enjoyed smashed avocado on toast with eggs and haloumi. I can vouch for their coffee too. Good menu selection and great service. The Village is a great little cafe.
As I want to keep my first review on here I will simply add this hidden gem is the star of Hamilton because it always consistently high quality meals and perfect cafe experience. Only place I know to get a Greek coffee too. Sam and his crew always deliver friendly, prompt service and a menu that pleases all the family and friends. Great chips and a selections of smoothies and the food is freshly made with Greek flavours. Simply the best.

Quite literally my favourite cafe ever. I will always make the hour trek to eat here over anywhere else. The food is always so fresh and nice, the staff are so friendly, attentive, and treat you like family, and the coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted. Also, this is the ONLY place that never misses with their avo toast Nothing else compares to this place.

Amazing place! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating even when it’s busy. The lovely young lady serving us checked in to make sure I was okay with my drink (I had ordered something new because of new dietary restrictions) or whether I wanted it swapped. Would definitely recommend, been here so many times and it’s perfect every time!

Sensational, delicious, so many flavours on my plate. Do it! Service was very very good. Attendant kept checking in on us and was very kind.

Although they were really busy they accommodated our party of 3 and our hound with a table outside.
Food and drinks were top notch.
We had the eggs Benny, Greek big plate and also the corn fritters.
Definitely a go to when in newy and we will return to try out other selections on the menu.
All staff were very attentive and helpful.
Super easy to split bills with there fancy tablet till system!

Visited Hamilton and decided to try The Village from its excellent reviews - did not disappoint. In fact, we were so impressed by the mouth-watering selection of dishes, excellent, family-feel service and great coffee, we came back again the next morning! In my opinion, they nailed the favourites, at least for this flavour-loving foodie.

We had the egg and smokey bacon roll, Greek breakfast, eggs benedict and smashed avo, all excellent. The dash of Greek influenced flavours and spices just made each meal moreish. Well done and thank you. We will certainly drop in again!

Breakfasts and coffees were fabulous and just what we needed for starting another long trip in the car. Staff were friendly, helpful and spot on with their customer service.

Came to Newcastle from Brisbane to visit my sister and she suggested The Village for breakfast.
Service was super efficient and lovely, mum loved the coffee and my banana smoothie was delicious.
The food was incredible both in quality and quantity. I can see why my sister is a regular here and I look forward to visiting again.
