The Village Kitchen Kurrajong reviews
67Beautiful place and a small unexpected accident occured. Lovely waitress went on to pick up the jars but they clashed and broke. A funny scene though. Highly recommend them.
Really good food.
The staff are just as good.
The nice lady making coffees is really good at what she does.
See you all real soon
This Cafe has the best coffee in the Hawkesbury, great food, and the staff are excellent, just love this cafe.
Nice and clean setting, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and good coffee. However the food was below average to terrible. My wife order a prawn linguine, the pasta was overcooked and soggy, and the sauce was tasteless and contained pineapple for some weird reason. It was the first time we have ever sent food back. They did change the meal for another dish without any issue.
Took my mother here for a birthday lunch, very nice. Might be an idea to book ahead though like I did.
Very busy cafe in the heart of Kurrajong.
It took a bit long for the food to arrive but worth the wait. I ordered ‘middle eastern chicken’. I found the portion was quite small.
But my friends’ food looked good.
I found the level of service does need improving. Maybe it was such a busy Saturday lunch time.
A nice place to dine and enjoy the views to the mountains.
When i entered the restuarant because i was not aware of the rules i went inside but the chef who was a guy talked to me very rudely and ask me to go back and stand behind the sign in notice.the location was amazing.but the quality of the cakes was not satisfactory.i had steak sandwich whic was good.
Prompt friendly service, lovely food, lovely views. Took my son for brunch after getting his license. Will certainly be going back.
Lovey spacious cafe with outdoor deck and leafy views. Just had coffee and cake but both were excellent (especially as they serve Vittoria) its been a long time since I had a decent tasting cup of Vittoria coffee. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Will have to come for lunch sometime.
Lunch time service so slow, we had to go to staff to ask to be served. Lunch servings were on the entree portions. Raw chips arrived, with one meal, and had to be sent back. New chips arrived and were not much better than the first. Food was basic and not memorable. There was only one other couple in the courtyard at the time so it was peaceful but not cosy. Inside was very dark loud and tense, with at least 5 "chefs" rushing around behind the kitchen. Floor manager was a matter of fact, with parrot like sentences of how things were and little to no attention to the answer. She seemed more interested in being paid and getting onto the next task. Perhaps she found it hard to hear for the noise in the dark room. Did not feel attended to or served. Not friendly. Sadly not a lunch time experience I would like to repeat.
Had lunch there with my wife last week. Very good and helpful service. We sat out on the balcony which has a great view across the Hawkesbury River. The food was good and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely go there again when in Kurrajong.
A otherwise good experience was compromised by some stingy portion decisions in the kitchen (e.g. The linguine was served with only four average-sized prawns and a minuscule amount of diced chorizo). The service was fine and the space is pleasantly perched with views over the plain.
It is always a pleasant experience eating here. Staff are friendly and helpful and the service is fast. We had breakfast today on the deck and the food was delicious and presented beautifully.
Popped in for lunch on a weekend and it was a fantastic experience all around. All the mains were delicious and tasty. The desert was so yummy as well. The carrot cake and the pistachio & lime cakes were soo good. The service was excellent as well. All the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome there. View from the outside deck was really nice too. Highly recommend this one if you are passing by.
Stopped in for a late lunch at 3pm. Had all day breakfast, very tasty and served by very friendly staff. Lovely view of Jacaranda trees through large windows.
We had a great meal after a long drive from the city. Always love a simple but yet tasty menu. The chef was also a delight.
For a small town resturant it can sure serve up a 10/10 meal.
Great evening dining looking over the sunset and city lights. Lovely enticing food and drink options.
Nice stop off en route back to Sydney from Blue Mountains. Food was dilicious and friendly service.
