58Great coffee and super fast service. Always my best option in Byron when I want a delicious coffee straight away.
Had a beautiful breakfast here, the bacon roll was great and coffee was just ok. Only downside is there is limited seating so get in early!
Best coffee I've ever had!
Food was good but the coffee was amazing.
Very popular so be prepared to wait.
Open from 6.30am the Top Shop at the top of Carlyle St is a firm favourite with the locals. The menu changes with the seasons. For out of Towners cute merch is also available. Come for coffee and stay for brunch. A wide range of beverages, breakfast bowls, pastries etc.it’s an upmarket cafe with crowded seating so it overflows to the lawn outside where staff can still find you. Average price pp $20 when eating in. Never has a corner store had so much vibe.
Got to be one of the busiest cafes in Byron! Seating is very limited, but customer turnover is fast so you don’t have to wait too long. Ordering is available by QR code or with a waiter. They seem to specialise in burgers as the majority of the menu are rolls/burgers. Not bad, but nothing exceptional with what we ordered. Tried a macca milk (macadamia milk) iced latte for the first time and it was super tasty! Great service too.
The best acai bowl in Byron! So delicious, the fruit was fresh, the granola tasty and the acai was smooth. Loved it
Grateful coffee and always friendly.
The burgers on the other hand are incredible. I had the classic which was amazing.but my the chili chicken is unbelievable which is what my wife had.only wish I had tried the burgers before our last hour in Byron.
One of the best places for breakfast in Byron! The breakfast burger is great and I recently had an amazing macadamia mango smoothie. Definitely give that smoothie a go! Always great atmosphere with people sitting on the grass outside.
Coffee 7/10 (long black, 1 sugar). Food 8/10. I love everything about this Cafe, looks to be a family owned local and perfect as the lighthouse Cafe didn't satisfy our hungry bellies. They sell their own merch, sunscreen, good food, and Cafe take away snacks etc. The slushie is 10/10! Perfect for summer, tourists and locals. We drove past it and it was pumping with people, sitting on the grass enjoying the sun. Love it x
Probably the best cafe in Byron.
Nicely away from the tourist hoards, this locals spot has excellent food and coffee.
Been a few times - loved it every time.
We went twice during our vacation in Byron. The first day we had to wait 45 minutes for food and you have to walk a bit out of Byron centre to get there, but honestly it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The food was extremely delicious, I had the chocolate banana muffin and the halloumi burger and they were the best! Unforgettable food, so much so that we had to go back again before our trip back to Sydney, and the food was much faster the second time. Also the staff is adorable, the very young and blonde girl is so sweet but everyone was very nice and friendly. See you soon next time we are in Byron x
One of the busiest cafes we saw during our stay in Byron and for good reason!
Spoilt for choice with the menu and the goodies behind the glass counter.
There is plenty of seating inside but also people spread out over the front grass section of the store every day sitting down enjoying their food also.
Very vibrant cafe will definitely return and highly recommend!
A nice breakfast option for locals. I loved the chicken burger. I’d skip the smoothie next time.
Hard to go elsewhere.this cafe has it all.consistently awesome coffee …
The bean bowl is super delicious and great value and the muffins are addictive
Always a welcoming place to sit even if it is on the lawn
Chia pudding $10 and cinnamon scroll $7 are 10/10
️
This Cafe is very popular and runs like a well oiled machine. Great vegan options We had a bowl of Beans an again bowl and vegan burger. Tasty food, good coffee and friendly efficient service. Thanks
Such a lovely little gem in Byron. Was in the area for a wedding and got recommended this place from a friend and it did not disappoint! Cool decor, lovely staff and fast service, this little shop pumped out the goods in no time! It was reasonably busy when we were there (a Sunday morning), but food still came out within 10 minutes! Food was everything you wanted and more - the perfect little breakfast sandwich bite from me. Only criticism is that it probably was a little expensive for what is was, but it was delicious so nothing worth losing a star over:) Took some great photos for my food instagram account @b.n. Eats as well!
Absolutely amazing! This place is the real deal. I had a salted caramel cinnamon bun with custard it was to die for! Reminded me exactly of the high end London bakeries. The coffee is excellent too
Had been my go to for a coffee fix each visit to Byron but never again! First if you notice there is no backboard with the coffee/ milk prices. I was stung $11.50 for a piccolo latte and a small low tide latte my only waver from normal milk was the piccolo had oat milk (as they don’t have lactose free). I didn’t notice the lucidities of this transaction till the sms came through after I pulled away, as I simply tapped for payment distracted while being on my phone. Gouging at its worst I mean it’s not Venice or Paris silly me it’s Byron make it up as you go along Bay or maybe I don’t look local enough to get the discount either way your bottom shop to me.
Seriously what a Fab little Top shop! Our Burgers croissants and Smoothies were magnificent not to Mention The friendly Atmoshere and wonderful staff. Truly worth stop to Eat:)
Great burgers (my current favourite is the fish burger which is not normally my thing, but it is so goooooood). Service is slow at peak times.best avoid 12.30 to 2.00
