The Tax Factor - Accountant & Tax Agents

Let me be unequivocally clear: steer clear of The Tax Factor if you value your time, money, and sanity. I lodged my tax return with them almost two months ago and foolishly believed that paying them upfront would ensure a modicum of professionalism. Instead, I was met with sheer incompetence and a profound lack of respect.

After a disturbingly long period of no communication, I took the initiative to call the ATO, only to find out that my tax return hadn't even been lodged! When I confronted The Tax Factor, they offered nothing but vague excuses and evasive answers. It became blatantly obvious they had screwed up and didn't have the decency to own up to it.

I was given the runaround with promises of callbacks from Chris, their so-called accountant. But all I got was radio silence, despite my relentless attempts to get a straight answer. And to pour salt on the wound, this is the SECOND year they’ve pulled this stunt.

For those like me who require manual tax returns, be prepared for an agonising wait of 6-9 weeks, exacerbated by The Tax Factor's inexcusable negligence. And to add insult to injury? They've hung up on me. Twice.

Using The Tax Factor is the financial equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot. Their negligence, paired with their glaring lack of professionalism, is simply unacceptable. If zero stars were an option, they'd have it. Do yourself a favour: take your hard-earned money and run in the opposite direction.

The tax factor is the place to be if u want super professional service. They do all my accounting for me, stress free. The staff are amazing very helpful. Thank you Tax Factor, love your work.

Booked in three different times. Two times with one accountant and one time with another. No one called either of those times and have wasted weeks of my time. The first accountant didn't bother replying to my email either. This was all after being told by the receptionist that the appointments have been made and I should be expecting a call. Like I said, a total waste of time.
