I can highly recommend this company.
Sean spent a lot of time with us working out exactly what we wanted. He kept us informed on progress throughout and his team were highly qualified, professional, polite and considerate. Every day the work site was left clean and tidy.
We were delighted with the finished product.

Couldn't be more impressed with these guys. Management were helpful, tradies were polite & respectful, everyone has a great work ethic. Will definitely recommend and use this company again.

Not a great experience at all.

Sydney Stone were relocating to a new shop so there were weeks of delays with the delivery. Fine, it happens - but the communication was pretty terrible, delays kept getting extended and they stopped responding to emails and phone calls.

Finally after weeks, the stones arrived - not to spec! I should have seen it coming from a mile away. Spec was for the bottom side straight cut and the others all rock face, bottom side clearly defined. But the wrong face was cut on both stones and now the stones don't fit. Rock face inconsistently done, some near flat and some pregnant nearly spherical. We can fix that ourselves but we can't do anything about the wrong face being cut.

Again the SSC guys would not respond to phone calls and emails, and finally weeks later emailed offering to fix the stones, but only if we deliver them / pick them up from the Stone Company warehouse ourselves. Given the stones are 80kg each and up 20 steps, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do that safely - which I think is the point. They've offered a "solution" which they know doesn't help but which they hope gets them off the hook.

Worst thing, they're trying to blame our landscaper when SSC didn't supply the stones to spec and the delays and poor communication were on the SSC side as well. So unprofessional.

We're now $1,000 out of pocket for stones we can't use, delivered weeks late and not to spec.

I had a great experience with the Sydney Stone Company whose friendly, highly skilled staff assisted in actualising my garden renovations plans by providing and installing great quality Australian Sandstone for my sandstone split faced ballast cladding.

Quality and pride in workmanship not found in such a dying art today. Highly recommended friendly and knowledgeable staff there work speaks for itself

Thank god I found Sydney Stone because they did a fantastic job in my back yard and pool area with all those curves and corners that I was afraid no one could do a neat job.
