The Sydney Fringe Festival reviews
9Great shows, some laugh out loud funny, some thought provoking touching on important topics - always high quality
Am awe inspiring creative show, filled with tension, energy, variety and a little bit of naughty. Visually spectacular to emulate a grand and rich cabaret show.
I was on my way to see the 7pm show tonight but due to the cancelling of trains I was unable to make it in time so this lovely girl named Caitlin changed my ticket over to a later time. Thank you so much! I am so looking forward to the show!
Great people to work with, believe in safety for their clients. Can't rate them highly enough.
I stumbled upon the QR code to Bernie Dieter's Club Kabarett at The Rocks and booked from my phone a few days beforehard. It was amazing to see this live event, the performers were so warm, talented and engaging and even though the weather outside was atrocious, inside it was all hoola hoops, firebreathing, carousing and a completely inappropriate level of debauchery. Dieter was absolutely hilarious and the packed audience was lapping it up by the end.
Highly recommend, bring your gumboots and umbrellas though as the grounds at First Fleet Park are muddy!
We have performed at - and attended performances at - The Sydney Fringe every year since 2014.
We have worked with at least six different festivals - all great in their own ways but Sydney Fringe is consistently the best festival we have worked with. A stable, quality, management team at Sydney Fringe has ensured a consistently high level of service to artists and audiences each year.
We are repeatedly impressed with the opportunities, the exposure to new audiences and the level of quality support that Sydney Fringe provides for participating artists, including us.
If you're an artist or performing group, especially if you're a comedian wanting to go to the next level in the business of comedy, we recommend registering directly with Sydney Fringe. That way, you can attend all the Sydney Fringe training provided at no extra cost as part of your registration. Perhaps the most valuable thing we learned from the training was all the strategies and techniques on how to create better experiences for our audiences. We implemented as much of the training as we could with our productions and not only has it helped us sell out shows every year at Sydney Fringe, it has helped our business and our performances improve every year outside of Fringe as well.
Attending Fringe as audience members, we have also been repeatedly impressed with the quality of shows put on by other performers, across the multiple genres on show.
It's a really well-run festival with extraordinary opportunities for both artists and audiences!
Very good venue. Saw Jane Doe as part of Sydney fringe and the bar staff was up for a chat after a very dense subject matter. Great selection of wines, but a bit pricey. Only downside was it was very hard to find. But a great small, intimate space. Would love to go back someday.
Europe Wont Fix You.
Confronting, funny and some very clever writing from some very talented ladies. If this is their first. I will be expecting big things from Hannah and Co moving ahead. This is one of the best bits of amateur theatre that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.laugh out loud.and a little of all of us who.have travelled in there.so some very good [yes good] cringe-worthy moments.and a little humorous musical to.boot.loved it.congrats girls.must be seen.
