The quality of the product is excellent, prices compare very favourably to other art suppliers I have used. I take advantage of the free shipping. The supplies arrive carefully wrapped and are at my door in no time. If asked I always recommend TSAS!

Love The Sydney Art Store because I get quality at great prices, and a very fast delivery too to Townsville. Browsing the website is great entertainment and I have found some wonderful items, for example, the Gill tube-wringer which saved my collection of old oil tubes and saved me hundreds of dollars.

This is a great store filled with amazing products.but what is with the staff? ! There are heaps of them but everyone behind the counter will ignore you without a word even when you're standing right there. Eventually someone will wander over and say "can I help you? " in a tone that makes you think you've intruded upon a private meeting. It's very off putting but happened both the times I went there. Very odd.

Sydney Art Store provide a fabulous online shopping service. They have a wonderful selection of acrylic paint and accessories. I have not looked at other art categories, however the website is easy to use, so it would suit any artist looking for quality products at value prices. Shipping is free for orders over $99.
If a product is unavailable, they will phone you to discuss your order. Postage is always quick. The packaging is environmentally responsible as they recycle packaging materials where possible.

As an Artist, I really appreciate the great selection, easy to use website, fast processing and most importantly.friendly, courteous staff always happy to assist.

I've ordered from The Sydney Art Store twice now, and have had a great experience both times. Their range is fantastic, and they stock paint brands that I'm unable to find in store in Brisbane. Their shipping is always super quick, the order is usually dispatched the same or next day after I've placed my online order, and delivery happens within two days, which is perfect for that online shopping/creativity itch! Their customer service is also great - I made a mistake on my last order, they gladly fixed the order, allowed me to pay the difference over the phone and shipped it the same day. Will definitely be purchasing again!

I called wanting some advice on some colour suggestions before I bought online as due to lockdown I can't get there personally to select them myself. I don't usually use colour. The lady on the phone was rude and hostile and raised her voice at me saying 'we cant help with creative decisions'. Wow. No worries!

I have been purchasing my large canvas rolls and other painting supports from here over the past few years. I am never dissapointed with the quality and am always impressed by the timely delivery! Thanks for an awesome service!

I did not say the store was too busy to answer the phone, that comment related to the response I received from the staff member I spoke to when I called to confirm stock. I only placed one call to the store, one of your staff called me to advise the easel was out of stock. The quick refund was appreciated, as stated in my original review.
Please read reviews in full before responding and consider if a defensive response is warranted or required to what was pretty mild criticism. I haven't changed the star rating on this review as 3 stars accurately describes my experience. Decent art store, could use some work on the customer service side of things.

Called 5 minutes before placing an online order to make sure the easel I wanted was in stock, was told it was, then got a call the next afternoon saying it's out of stock. I understand that stock levels on the website might not be up to date but I would have thought that calling would get around that. When I asked about timing for click and collect and if it would be ready that day or the next - given that Botany is in a current LGA of concern - the response was essentially "we're busy so when we get to it". On the upside the refund was processed very quickly, which is appreciated.
I've only been into the store a few times and it was mostly a good experience. However based on this experience I think I'll be waiting until restrictions lift and the store is able to open before shopping with them again.

I am by no means a artist and never stepped into an art store before. BUT, I was researching paint for my friend and came across The Sydney Art Store and I was amazed by how many equipment and supplies they have in here. Also, the store is very well organised and clean.

Got my friend a few paint he needed and he said it’s the best paint he has ever used so far.

The customer service I contact was great, collect items was smooth. Price is good too. I will definitely come back if I ever need any art supplies.
