I've been with The Swoop Inn for many many years!
Swoop have placed me into ongoing freelance bookings for a broad and varied range of quality design agencies and a long term permanent role.
Swoop have an understanding of not only the day-to-day technical design process, but the industry in general, and current employment climates as a whole.
They go above and beyond to secure great work for their candidates and safeguard the process to ensure awesome working conditions. I'm never leaving The Swoop Inn!

If you want to be cared about as a creative and placed with good intuition into job placements you love, then get to The Swoop Inn now! Having a deep understanding of the complete creative process, they are quickly able to assess skill level. More importantly, they offer guidance on how best to represent those skills to attract the desired clients. *edit: I wrote this 3 years ago and I absolutely stand by it. Still and always, my awesome agency.

Joined their temporary pool after being recommended by a friend - was promised that they would guide me towards experience and eventually a permanent junior graphic designer position (I am a fresh graduate) but was left in the dark and never contacted in the 4 months since signing up. I even reached out a couple of times to see if everything was ok with my application, updated my CV/hours of availability and asked if there were any updates but was told things were quiet and there was nothing for me. Since then I've seen countless ads calling out desperately for graphic designers of all skill levels as they're super busy. So yeah, a bit of a confusing experience tbh, I would hope a recruiter could offer some advice or feedback regarding CV's/portfolios or even have transparency with communication but I got lost in their system by the looks of things.

I have been working with The Swoop Inn for two years now and they have always been very professional and helpful.
The assignments are varied and interesting, getting to work with some of the best Sydney creative studios and marketing agencies. Short or long assignments - the Swoop Inn make it easy.

A really well-rounded bunch of pro recruiters who have landed me great gigs at reputable production companies. They're always on call to answer any questions and provide advice or feedback too. High recommend!

I've worked as a candidate with the team from The Swoop Inn for many years. I have always been treated with courtesy and when I receive a booking at an agency I've never had any last minute cancellations, once you're booked in to work it's guaranteed.

JJ Herman, You're right buddy! Feeding 'Like' is very important nowadays. As I see further those who put 5 stars actually the people who work in the same place. That means they are 'staff' who put those stars by themselves.

Have had a great experience working with The Swoop Inn during the past few months. From my first email to them, my interview and all communication since then, they have always been very prompt, professional and efficient. They booked me for my first job with them within my first week.
I am grateful to have been recommended The Swoop Inn by a friend and am happy to be working on a contract through them currently.
A great agency to work with in Sydney! Thanks guys! Highly recommended.

In the modern technology like a social media era.people can easily believe about an organisation that is being scored 5 stars. Who have given 5 stars? Their closest friends, colleagues to robust the growth of their business? We don't know. Yes, they will claim 'It's truly from their client. ' I set a try out and sent a portfolio of design works for 20 years as a graphic designer (mainly branding retail and packaging design). Found out few of the staff who are still 'wet nose' about the overall knowledge of graphic design and would perhaps call me a grandpa. Instead, asking me to return again and sent another new/recent portfolio work (They think it's outdated or perhaps they've never seen one). So now I understand why lots of good creative design studio always say to me that they don't entertain with any (creative) recruitment agents because they only do simply a business. But non creative design studios will have creative recruitment agencies to assist them. I have been asked to guess what their qualifications are when they work in the (creative) recruitment agents? Most of them have human resources qualifications (in Certificate or Diploma) - no experience in graphic design; or/ and they may employ only few who do have a design background on top of human resources qualification. They maybe recruitment staff who are ex designers or casual designers or just a freelancer. So I stick with what I have learned long ago.be brave to knock door to door (Creative Design studios), do research about the workplace (studio design company or firm), arrange/set up a 20 minutes appointment, portfolio presentation, leave contact detail. That's how I've got job. I've tried with this one and few other creative recruitment agencies pretend they are creative and knows creative connections, honestly only I get a peanut then get a bunch of monkeys. Like I said, it's easy to see, to believe and to give 5 stars rating. Social Media is very powerful. Who gave 5 stars?

Awful experience with this recruiter. Working through this recruitment company, they take the largest cut of the day rate from the designer when booking them on jobs, compared to other recruiters in Sydney. They also rang my references repeatedly one morning, just to have a staff member 'practice' asking recruiter interview questions! SO unprofessional.
