Unfortunately I had an extremely terrible experience from start to finish. Waiting for 2 hours pre-surgery with no updates wasn't great when spending $5000 on surgery. More concerning was my post-surgery care. The plan for wound care was very lax (such as remove bandage after a day), wound got infected post-surgery, phone calls went unanswered so I sent a photo of the wound and had no response. Would not return, and would also talk someone out of having surgery here

I called 7 times during the week to inquire about the cost of the initial consultation with no answer on the phone or email and no call back. My appointment was 15 minutes and cost $320. That’s absurd and unreasonable.
Do not recommend!

Have always had a great experience here until today with an extremely rude receptionist. I think she would have given a mostiquo more attention and care. Reading the comments below, I am not the only one who has had this experience.

This was an unpleasant experience made as pleasant as possible by all the nurses, Dr's and clerical staff. Dr Lee and Dr Chatham are wonderful, kind human beings. The care and concern was excellent.

Friendly kind and experienced staff managed my elderly mother beautifully in for a nasty BCC procedure- definitely recommend.

I cannot fault the service and care I was given during my procedure. Everybody from front reception to nurses were exemplary. Dr Simon Lee and Dr Anthony Maloof were outstanding with their care and professional manner. Thank you

Nursing staff were excellent very friendly and attentive. Admin staff not so but were good at placing the eftpos machine continually towards me. I asked could they claim the Medicare portion for me but of course their machine was down. Yeah right. At least 4 unknown documents passed to me with a finger point of sign here, no time to read. A 4 hour wait between procedures with no explanation when a "sorry for the delay" would have sufficed. No discussion during procedures to explain what was currently happening. I did appreciate the follow up call the next day from "nursing staff" going over what I was to do.

Skin Hospital was operated efficiently and professionally. Staff were excellent. The surgeon and support staff were all professional and gave me the necessary information about the procedure and post operative care.

The staff are so caring and supportive especially for this nervous Nellie!

The staff at the hospital were amazing. The nurses are worth their weight in gold. Dr Tanya Gilmore, I cannot thank enough. She was beyond caring which made my experience a thousand times better than I expected.

As always, the care and attention provided by the administrative staff, nursing staff and Dr Simon Lee at the Darlinghurst Skin Hospital is exceptional and much appreciated.

I recently had a skin cancer removed from a tricky place on my nostril. Dr Simon Lee performed Mohs surgery. Dr Lee is professional, kind, clear and very supportive and I was very relieved that he was able to remove the tumour on his first attempt. On the flip side, I also appreciated that he was conservative to retain as much tissue as possible and may have needed to remove more tissue once he'd received the pathology tests. That was a very reassuring process from a non medical person's point of view. He and the whole hospital team were excellent and I would highly recommend.

Don't waste your time or hard earned money. $270 to be told pretty much what I already knew about my skin condition, nil care or concern shown. Rushed through, (they were 20 minutes late so felt like they were trying to make up time), and i came out wondering what was the point of that. My local GP provided more helpful insight, information, and more care than here, for a quarter of the cost.
Kind of feels if you're not attending there for a high value procedure, you're not worth the effort.

The nursing staff were excellent, well mannered and very supportive. Post op wound care directions were clear and concise, an enjoyable experience overall.

The surgeons, theatre staff and reception staff were all wonderful. Whilst the procedure itself isn't pleasant, highly recommend the professional and caring service provided by The Skin Hospital. Special mention to Dr Gilmour, Dr Reddy and Zoe. For any future skin issues I will definitely be utilising The Skin Hospital services.

Seems like a good clinic, but for acne scar treatment this is not the place to go.

Had a appointment with Dr Kho. The reception says he specialized in acne scar treatment.

But the clinic don’t have equipment for RF and Dr Kho can’t even do subcision. All he did was recommending laser, even though laser is risky for my skin type. Just because the only treatment he can do is laser.

Extremely friendly and competent staff. Felt very welcome from the moment I stepped out of the lift

This was my second visit and I still say what a wonderful and dedicated team you have my MOH surgery seems to have been successful. Dr Stutenberg & his nurses were marvellous
