I have had four RF Microneedling treatments at The Skin Bar, Double Bay - it lacks consistency, has a focus on upselling treatments and products to its clients and seems to always be under staffed. My first two sessions were with Rachael which were fantastic - she is detailed, thorough and genuinely cared for my results.

My last two sessions were with another staff member and both of these left me more inflamed and red than the first two sessions, including having numerous scratches from when the microneedles were pulled across my face before the stamp was finished. During my third session, I had long scratches on my forehead and my final session, all along my jaw line - see images. They were sensitive to touch and had visible scabbing for at least a week so not exactly what you would expect from microneedling (also not what was experienced during my first two treatments!).

The treatment itself is great but overpriced. I would not recommend based on my last two experiences and the lack of consistency when it comes to the standard of treatment. But also because I have never started an appointment on time - they are always running behind schedule. During my last two sessions, they rushed the end of my treatments because there was someone waiting for their appointment (even though I wasn’t late to mine either) and I’m guessing that’s why my face was scratched both times - poor scheduling and time management.

I had RF needling with Monica at the Double Bay salon. She was amazing! So knowledgeable and really focused on my specific skin concerns. I will definitely rebook with her!

Had my first session of skin needling with Rachael and so far I’m having amazing results! Planning to do it every month for maximum results as advised by Rachael. Can’t wait for my next session!

Originally only came here to purchase some product that I know the clinic stocks. However, when i walked in i noticed how beautiful the place was and wanted to give it a go! The team was so so lovely, extremely helpful and professional- was highly impressed. I had a facial with Rachael which was informative, super relaxing and left my skin feeling amazing. I ended up booking in some skin needling treatments with her! I am so excited to start on my journey to healthy beautiful skin at The Skin Bar!

I recently had a facial peel at The Skin Bar in Double Bay, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! My therapist, Mel, was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain the entire process, as well as recommending the correct products for my skin.

Mel's expertise and knowledge were evident as she guided me through each step of the facial peel. She ensured I understood what was happening with my skin and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. Her personalized approach made me feel like I was in safe hands.

The Herbal B facial peel itself was incredible! Not only did it effectively rejuvenate my skin, but it also left it feeling refreshed and revitalized. I could see visible improvements in the texture and appearance of my skin immediately after the treatment.

I must mention the pleasant and relaxing ambiance of The Skin Bar. The atmosphere was soothing, and the staff was professional and attentive throughout my visit.

I’ve been seeing Sam at the skin bar for close to 6 months now and have completed 3 skin needling sessions.
