The Skillion reviews
15Best look out, it is steep to walk up. There are benches to sit down for a breather along the way. The view is worth it.
Lovely high spot that gives an amazing panoramic view at both day and night time. Steep but short path up to the top.
A standout feature in Terrigal with great views of the coastline in both directions. I’m sure it’s even more beautiful on a sunny day! If you’re looking for some exercise to raise your heart rate, the walk up the hill provides it
Great location and awesome accommodation. We stayed at Terrigal Skillion view beach apartment. Fantastic views. Spotlessly clean and the best location opposite the Skillion, beach and 3 mins walk to main street. Very affordable accommodation. So comfy and has evetything you need.
Awesome spot for walks and workouts. Enjoyed a beautiful view of Terrigal Beach. Lots of dogs which means you gotta be careful where you sit on the grass areas.hehe
Worth the trek up the stairs to the top of the world of Terrigal. An awesome viewing platform to soak in the panoramic coastline view of Terrigal. Visit here every year on holiday, great exercise trek with reward at top of skillion.

Beautiful beautiful, great place to walking dogs, exercise, surf, chill at the beach and partake in the beautiful ambiance and restaurants.
Get service, great food. I would say that this is now the best fine dining restaurant in Terrigal. Highly recommended. New owners and staff very friendly, knowledgeable.
The Skillion is now an easy walk to the top, where you have a chance to view the whales breaching or just a great view out over the water. A terrific view of Terrigal skiscape
Always an inspiring view and especially when the whales are migrating along the coast. The local council tried to remove the summit using explosives a few years ago. Thought it might fall on the fishers below. They couldn't move it. Hope they didn't weaken the cliff too much!
A beautiful place to just walk & take in the views, to picnic with the family or to share in some family sports at the Oval. Or just go for a swim at the rock pool. There is plenty of parking and walks is varying fitness levels. A great place to spend a family weekend
Lovely place to visit. Park and watch the waves crash over the rocks, or spend some time outside enjoying the sea air. The walk to the top yields amazing views from up there.
I came here on a day the water was a little choppy there was still a few guys out there spear fishing, they both said there was heaps of fish life and great structure.
They both said this would be a great place to go for a spear but make sure you come on a day you know the weather is going to be good and the ocean is calm otherwise it looked a little dangerous for my liking if your looking to do a shore dive.
Huge reef so you won’t get in anyone’s way.
Norfolk Island pines surround you and amidst it all, dogs are chasing and the Skillion is alive with walkers making the trek to the lookout
Beautiful area with lots to see and do. Well maintained and built. Be sure to take into account the tides if you are wanting to walk along the rocks below the cliffs.
