The Sebel Bowral / Young Bees reviews
40Great hotel, it is located in a perfect location near vineyards and town. Room with a king bed is perfect for a nice rest, we also got kitchen facilities and living room area. Staff very helpful. Would stay again for sure!
Nice accommodation in walking distance of town.great view and thankful it was nice and quiet.
Wrote an email with a list of what was wrong.
The location was great. A lot of stairs to carry luggage.
An extremely old tv which did not allow connection to apps like Netflix or allow casting from a phone seems unacceptable in a place of this quality.
Stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment within this place over the Easter weekend. Phenomenal location, as it was merely a 2 minute drive from the main street. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Everything within the room was clean & easily accessible.
My only fault is that the roof was unfortunately leaking on one of the days where it was raining heavily. Hopefully this issue could be fixed for future guests.
Didn't have a chance for a swim. Not a bad place some minor repairs additions to the room could be done.
We stayed in the Sebel studio apartment which was quite spacious, clean, modern.
A small fridge and cooker including a microwave in the apartment.
The landscaped gardens around the complex are very soothing to the eye.
We will definitely come back to this establishment.
Also it's only a 15 minute walk to get to the centre of Bowral.
Nice and close to town centre. Room was super Clean on Arrival. Big Spacious room with comfy bed. Spa Bath was great.
Since booking, both my partner and I have called Adam multiple times with different requests, and every time Adam is more then willing to help. Once we arrived to our unit we both fell in love. Rooms are very spacious, extremely clean and we have enjoyed our stay. And most importantly, will be coming back. Thank you Adam for your assistance in making this little trip away the best it could be
Terrible service! Staff are rude, room is filthy and rubbish at your doorstep nobody clean up. If there is no star I would choose it. Don’t come!
Bad access to car, staff put us with young kids to a very remote room like a dump! It’s a *hole! Rude and unresponsive staff, old people or young family DONT COME! It will ruin your whole holiday!
The sound proof of the room is very poor- I can hear neighbour cooking, watching tv and talking. So I couldn’t sleep until very late. Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay. I think for $370 per night accommodation, it is disappointing that the sound proof is that bad.
Great location and comfortable room. Wi-Fi was poor and needs improvement for the standard of accommodation advertised.
Great gardens and service from reception to cleaners. Rooms are well appointed. Has central heating and cooling. However would love a real wood fireplace (at least a real gas fireplace) and not a fake.
I rang in 2 weeks before check in requesting a easy access room but the guy told me I didn’t call and gave me a room very far to walk to from the car park. Not good place to stay if you have disabled kids.
If you’re older or disabled then forget it! Rooms are far, far away from the car park, up and down several flights of stairs. It beggars belief that a relatively new building can be design without inclusivity in mind in this day & age. Room was huge, bed comfy & handy kitchenette so that was a plus. But the customer service was poor. There was no mention of the major building renovations taking place on the website when I booked. One morning I awoke to find a painter looking through my window & when I said good morning, explained that the room was still occupied & requested that he step away from the window he was rude & argumentative. I passed my concerns to Sebel staff & was told I would be contacted. Still waiting for that to happen but I won’t hold my breath.
Disabled unfriendly. No lifts. If you are carrying your luggage you in for trouble.no lifts no ramps. I can't believe a well known brand could do this.
Comfy beds, lots of heating options for the wintery Bowral days. Good kitchen facilities in our 2 bedroom apartment. Helpful, fiendly staff. But - a long walk from the outdoor car park to our unit included lugging suitcases up/down stairs. The inside of the unit looked as if it could use some sprucing up, leaky toilets, powerpoint with no cover, kitchen sink wouldn't hold water, mould infiltrating the seals in the shower. No information booklet to help with things like garbage disposal, reception times etc. Overall, not awe inspiring.
I was checking in my elderly/partly blind patients at 6pm lat night in the rain. The reception, hard to find was closed. Unbelievable! There was a message to call so I did, while my patient was sitting in a car. I was advised that the key is in the locker with a combination, which was said so fast so I could not memorise it, then I was disconnected. Called again, to get the correct combination. Worked this time. There was a useless map inside and a key. Eventually we found the apartment. My patient is almost blind, so 7 steps, the dark corridor did not help. I have quickly checked the apartment and there was a spa only with no rails to reach even for me, a fit person. I have great concern that my patient may not be able to have a shower, as she is almost blind, and getting into the high spa with not rails would be a challenge for all elderly people.
Ideal getaway from Sydney, restful, respectful, good staff (Adam), Accor has done it again, truly excellent accommodation in a class of its own
