Glad to find this gluten free Vietnamese restaurant in North Strathfield. It is wonderful to have gluten free meat dishes.

Have been here two weeks in a row now. Food very nice and plentiful and well priced. The restaurant itself is good size with plenty of room to move around or if you were to have prams or wheelchairs. Suits large family gatherings to couples. Decor is modern.

Decided to give this restaurant a try given the overwhelming line at kosuke and we wanted something warm and with a soup. We ordered the stone bowl pho which looked like an innovative take on the traditional dish but was poorly executed with inconsistent quality. Only one of the bowls came out boiling and hot and came out earlier than the rice noodles and meat by about 5 minutes where the soup was starting to cool down. Our food also came out in over 30 minutes from when we ordered whereas the table next to us who came later and ordered later received all their dishes first. The pho noodles were overcooked and had no give and so was brisket making it dry. The wagyu however tasted good and the bean sprouts were fresh but the broth had a lot of MSG leaving you parched for the rest of the night. The redeeming experience is the atmosphere where the restaurant was clean and well designed. Whilst the innovative take is appreciated, the execution was poor and given the price I'd go elsewhere for better quality food and cheaper price

3.4 - Randomly tried this place for lunch - Service needs a brush up. Food was mediocre - I tried the Bo Kho Pasta (Beef Brisket Noodle. Tomatoes, Brisket, Noodle, Viet Spices) - Oily, Not tasty and I didn't really like the Noodle but overall, it was ok. Had the entree of Calamari, which came with an interesting creamy lemony sauce. The restaurant is pretty much in the dark except for a bright sunny spot shining through a side window. Bistro-like atmosphere, which is comfy and relaxed but I had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated, while staff took their time dilly dallying, ignoring my presence etc, so I seated myself. Customers were relaxed with the devices and reading material. $30 Total Bill - Too dark for me to come back.

Tried this resto as it was just a few streets away from where i visited. I saw a couple of shortclips online that made me curious.

Unfortunately the stonebowl pho was overrated. Presentation wise it was really aa but i have eaten better tasting viet dishes in a more reasonably priced resto.

Was very disappointed with the experience. We selected the seafood set menu and they didn’t have the fish which was the reason we chose that menu. We should’ve had the option to choose a different sent menu, but they wouldn’t let us do that, instead substituted the fish with a few little prawns and called it a day. The rest of the menu were also very bad. There was nothing inside the spring rolls, just a few pieces of cabbage. The salt and pepper squid was coated in the hardest batter I’ve ever tasted, I felt like I was eating cement. Crème brûlée tasted like polenta and the other dishes were just mediocre. I’m Vietnamese and I wanted to give this restaurant a chance, but this is by far one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants in my entire life. Please, if you can’t put quality dishes on the table, just close the restaurant, don’t give Vietnamese food a bad reputation.

Dined in for lunch. I had the special pho which was an option as part of their $14 lunch deal. It was delicious and a good portion size, generous serving of meat and noodles for the price, very satisfied. The atmosphere was clean and spacious, good for large groups and events. It is nicely decorated and well lit, they serve alcohol as well. I recommend dining here and I would come back again!

Waited over 45 minutes for our food, ordered pho and beers. Never had to wait this long to be served pho. We checked on the food twice and they still could not serve it up so ended up leaving. An overall disappointing experience.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in sydney, and the best value. Everything tastes spectacular and the service is perfect. We come here all the time. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

As a Viet, I rarely go out for Vietnamese food because I’ll always feel guilty as mum cooks her heart away at home. But admittedly, Savoury Dining did give mum a run for her money which is not a compliment I give lightly.

From a very cute interior and attentive wait staff, to generous servings for cheap, I highly recommend this place for a quick fix of Viet food. The set menus in particular look like great value for money so enjoy!

We went for dinner on a Friday night and was delighted by how tasty the food was. Originally expecting a buffet, we were still very satisfied with the new menu in terms of value and quality of the food!

Food was great and staff were super helpful and responsive. Stone pot pho was great and the lunch specials look great. Dessert was creme brulee, not recommending as it was grainy and the icecream tasted cheap. Total around $50. Super spacious restaurant, can cater for large groups.

Interesting tapas style dinner that seemed like a Vietnamese - Thai fusion. Staff were attentive and friendly. Some ordinary dishes, but there were some outstanding dishes. Highly recommend the grilled betel leaves beef, beef stew, cauliflower & taro ice cream.

Bland, tasteless food - throughly disappointed. I guess the only dish that had some flavour was the humble salt and pepper prawns.

Incredibly busy on weekends Saturday. Won't be able to do walk ins on unless late session. Good variety of share and tapas dishes styles. The grilled prawns and crispy chicken merryland are highlights.

We were a party of 6, the staff kept us supplied with food all night. Great selection of very tasty food and able to cater for a variety of tastes.
Shame it's not BYO.
