The Sanctuary Women's Retreat was a lovely, relaxing experience with a nurturing spirit. I felt my mind free and emotions released. The ice bath was incredible and invigorating. The beautiful vegan food added to the enjoyment of the weekend with lovely people, managed with love and spirit. The beautiful environment, powerful meditations with Alexis, and the delightful sauna and massage session were exceptional highlights. Highly recommended for self-discovery and rejuvenation. We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at the Sanctuary, from the moment we arrived Alexis, our wonderful host, had us breathing deep and meditating to get us in the zone, once we stepped in our cosy comfy accommodation we felt instantly relaxed and at peace surrounded by the serenity of natural bushland. The hot saunas were plentiful and the area boasts wonderful eating places down by the river. I fully recommend this quaint little retreat if u need a quick regeneration for your mind body and soul.

Alexis is a soulful woman keen to her share her time, expertise and profound knowledge of mind, body, spirit and heart alignment. Every section of the 2- day retreat was well thought out and overlaid perfectly to create intense transformational shifts. The venue, vegan meals, surroundings, the Sanctuary Australia team, activities, weather and variety of modalities all came together to create the magical weekend. Hi Alexis I have been meaning to get in touch to let you know what a wonderful weekend my sisters and I had. We weren’t sure what to expect but it was so calm and lovely and relaxing. The food was great and we loved enjoying the various activities together. We have not had the opportunity to have down time together for years and we hardly stopped talking the entire time! It was really special to be together. I have some more medical challenges ahead and am so grateful to have had time out at the Sanctuary with my sisters and you.

The Sanctuary was a place that I could reset my body, mind and soul. Sauna, ice bath, bushwalking and specially the yoga & meditation session with Alexis Hannagan changed my life forever. Highly recommended

Alexis and team were warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped into the Women’s Wellness Retreat I recently attended with 10 other gorgeous and kind women from all walks of life. Over the weekend we ate delicious vegetarian food prepared lovingly by Sam and had the best massage I’ve had in a long time by the gracious Nina. We were led through Kundalini practice sessions led by Alexis and Vinyasa yoga with Teaghan. Had a refreshing bush walk just out the back of the beautiful property. Overall, I learned heaps, made new friends, opened my heart and remembered the power of the sisterhood. Thank you Alexis for leaving me feeling calmer & lighter xxx

There is no comparison with any of the others retreat in Sydney. Is so unique what Alexis do that there is no even words to describe. I have already been 2 times. The love the relax the feeling cuddle by love food treatment experience of personal evolution, release from trauma. How i make a summary in words. Everyone should live that. What I love about The Sanctuary is that it’s boutique, small groups so I always get personalized attention.

If i could give this retreat more stars i will.i went into it not knowing what to expect Alexis made me feel at home straight away with a welcome snak and drink and a relaxing chat.i have never experienced such serinty and relaxation.i totally forgot about work i didnt touch my phone once and that was the aim to leave the world behind and find myself.i truy found what i have been wanting by disconnecting from the world as the world has a way of distrating us from what we are and want.i can go on and on its a must do in my openion worth every penny, a few days later im still feeling good.

I spent 4 days at the sanctuary retreat. No other words to describe but simply wonderful and magnificent, came at. A time in my life when I needed a reboot I well and truly got so much more out of it then that A rebirth actually. I left glowing with a new way to live my life. Alexis is truly. A wonderful and amazing soul incredible good at what she does that much so that I have now taken her on as my mentor for the next few months. I have made changes for life for the better and that’s all thanks to Alexis. I’m so thankful to have connected with the sanctuary it will now be a part of me for life.

I remember the first time I attended the sanctuary two years ago being 24 years old. I needed somewhere to heal and let go of trauma, I had stumbled across Alexis on Facebook immediately felt a safe connection and booked into the courage and grace programme. I didn’t just find tools or yoga for my healing, I found peace, self love, confidence, a teacher, friend and a soul community with the other women in my group that created lasting friendships. I highly recommend the sanctuary to anyone needing to hold and create space in themselves.

Being at the Sanctuary is both a nurturing and uplifting experience, in nature.

At the Sacred Temple (an event held there), we connected with a creative group of cordial ladies!

Alexis herself has a calm and integral way of making sure everybody attending feels welcomed, and she embraces the unique energy of the group.

I completed a Yoga retreat recently and loved it. The Yoga and Meditation classes were awesome along with the ice bath, sauna and the bush walk. I have never slept so good in all my life. The food was great which I'm sure helped with my energy levels and overall, I have never felt so good. I have learnt a lot and have continued with the meditation and yoga practices. I have recommended this retreat to all my family and friends. The hosts Alexis and Felippe were just beautiful and I loved each and every moment I spend at the Sanctuary.

Such a beautiful experience. A luxurious stay with all the creature comforts you could want and more. We loved how you thought of everything for our honeymoon experience.
We miss Bali and this was as close as we could get. 10 out of 10.

This was such a wonderful reflective experience, and Alexis provided a warm safe space for everyone to heal grow and relax. So blessed to be involved in such a transformative retreat!

I had an amazing time at this retreat last weekend. I didn’t know what I was expecting when I went on Friday but I felt so relaxed and stress free when I walked out on Sunday. Alexis was amazing teaching me yoga and giving me some tools to make my life a bit more stress free.

I really enjoyed the very personalised yoga session, relaxing in the sauna and massage services that they offered.

Be warned the resident duck is a little possessive of the pool when you take a plunge in there

The women retreat was exactly what I needed to unwind and reconnect my mind and body. It did take me out of my comfort zone some times, but it’s all part of the journey, making it worth it in the end. I was lucky to be the company of some awesome women I didn’t know before the retreat who were all so supportive. Will do again soon.
