The Roses Cafe & Catering Co. reviews
70 Never dissapointed with this stunning cafe
Consistently reliable great quality food with fair prices and exceptional service every single time
Wow! Just lovely. Awesome customer service. Amazing food. Great coffee. Amazing muffins. HIGHLY recommend
Great place to eat. Staff greet you at the door and always happy to assist. Food good. Reasonable prices
I was recommended this cafe by a loverly man at the train station. It was a short walk away from the station so prefect for a layover. Beautiful location, across from the church, with two outside area and a beautiful inside area. The staff were so loverly and friendly and the deli selection was incredible. Good coffee and breakfast and I even took a sweet treat to go which was nice. It was a little on the pricey side which I didn’t feel reflected the quality but it was still nice.
Go there. Go there now. It’s love at first sight. The hall is amazing, big spaces, high ceilings and lots of history. The food looks amazing and tasted just a good. Not to mention the pastries.
Lovely environment and atmosphere, but the food was expensive and the quality didn't live up to it. The food was nice, but not $30/meal nice. I had Canadian pancakes and my partner had eggs on toast. Add two coffees and that was $62. My bacon was great, but the pancakes weren't. That said, the staff were amazing and the place itself had a wonderful vibe
Called in here on the way to Canberra. Their serving sizes are generous and the staff are pleasant. On the way back I called in there again as I didn't want to risk getting a dud by going somewhere else. Had read their prices were high, but I thought they were very reasonable.
Best restaurant in the world! The staff were very friendly and the meals were certainly plentiful. Less than 20 dollars will fill up your stomach with amazing food. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here if they pass by and are in need of a lunch.
If you want to use disabled access you will need your compass because it's on the EAST SIDE, instead of having a simple arrow pointing the way ️.
From the time of arrival we were welcomed by beautiful friendly helpful staff.
Presentation of food for sale was immaculate and such high quality and VERY TEMPTING.
Although my toast and bacon was overcooked, the rest was great
The coffee is to die for, magnificent.
Rest rooms are modern and clean. Sign on Men's is confusing and one I've never seen before, maybe catering for the confused or undecided genders. I had to stand with legs crossed while deciphering the signs.
The building and decor has character, is old, inviting, but we'll maintained and clean.
It's a bit noisy & could be loud when crowded.
It's well worth a visit
We had poached egg, smashed avo and feta on sourdough & French toast with maple and bacon. Good food delivered hot and fast, delicious as always.
Lovely cafe in a beautiful and lovingly restored building. Wonderful place for breakfast in Goulburn.
Great selection of healthy food, including gluten free meals and snacks.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
This cafe was wonderful. The food was really good and the waiters were really friendly. I highly recommend!
Lovely cafe - great ambience, friendly and quick service and delicious, fresh food with generous portions.
Lovely place for breakfast with so many foods to choose from. Staff so attentive to customised servings.
Amazing had french toast with ricotta and honey, loved it. I only wish it had more fresh fruit then it would have been incredible
As far as cafés go, Roses would be one of the best in Goulburn and surrounding areas. The food was yummy, good coffee, great ambience.
First time at this Cafe a couple weeks back and was so lovely. We were greeted with a smile at the door and someone who showed us to our seats. We didn't pre book but she still managed to fit us in super quick. Food was a little pricey but worth it for a beautiful place to dine. Really loved their ginger juice!
I love coming to this cafe on my stop overs between Sydney and Canberra. The new location is beautiful with old world charms. We sat enjoying our lunch by the fireplace.
Loved the grand interior. It's a beautiful open space with really high ceilings. The scones were a real disappointment. They were doughy and heavy and (possibly) microwaved. They have a range of other sweet things here, so I'd suggest trying those and avoiding the scones.
