The Rectory reviews
17Beautiful ambiance, lovely staff but 80% of their menu was not available and portions were very small. I always thought two eggs came with two pieces of toast but not here.
Our group had stopped by The Rectory during our drive from Wollongong to Brisbane. We had the big country breakfast, the food was incredible and the ladies who run the place were incredibly sweet. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Will sure visit again.
Beautiful cafe, quiet surroundings, grab a book and a cuppa and sit outside in the tranquil garden. Staff are so welcoming you won't want to leave. Meals are well priced and delicious. Coffee is great and pot of tea with one of the many delicious cakes and slices is also a must have I can't wait for my next visit.
Took my sister for lunch and she loved it so peaceful and we had some beautiful birds visit us and hand fed them
Lovely local spot, lovely service. Favourite to take the dogs to after a walk by the river.
Stopped over for brunch on the way back to Sydney. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend.
Netty. Was. Here. What a little find this is. With stunning historical building and outhouses. Here at the rectory you will find a few amazing things.
There’s a cafe, you can get readings, or a massage. But I come here to see Justin at the Nundle Natural shop and then love to enjoy a coffee and a lite bite! Which may I add is very very reasonably priced with pretty much every meal under $20.
The absolutely stunning Norfolk Trees are always eye catching when I walk into the gardens. Also the tallest visual point in Raymond Terrace.
So if you are a little lost finding the place look for the tallest trees!
Great food, awesome coffee. Met a friend for lunch. Wish the weather had been better but the coffee was great and the food was fresh and delicious. Service was fast. Good value. Will definitely go back!
A beautiful gem in town.
Great coffee, great food, great and friendly staff.
Gluten free options too!
The perfect halfway stop from Sydney to Port Macq.great coffee in a peaceful setting. Worth turning off the highway for!
Lovely setting. Very generous servings of homemade goodies. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Recommend this cafe.
The Rectory has great coffee and fresh home cooked meals. A pleasure to eat in the outdoor area which is quiet, no loud music, so you can enjoy great conversation with your mates. A must try venue.
Only came to try out this place from the photos. Great staff, very friendly and quiet atmosphere. The food is phenomenal.this is just me personally, however the only downside was the table covers covered with thick clear plastic which cheapens the experience when the previous photos showed nice and elegant table linen. Other than that, I would highly recommend this peaceful location.
Don't contact them for enquiries or bookings online like they state that you can as they dont get back to you.
My mum usually goes here after the gym with her girlfriends in the morning. Last Friday morning, she had a coffee and there was problem with their coffee machine and it made the coffee taste a little off. Being the polite person my mum is, she didn’t want to complain and she threw it in the bin. Today, her friend dobbed her in stating she wasn’t happy with her coffee last week. The manager profusely apologised and gave her and her girlfriends free coffee and a free breakfast for the feedback. My mum said it was amazing! Avocado, cheese and bacon on a large slice of toast for only $5 (even though she didn’t have to pay). I’m going to have to try the place out myself. The staff sound amazing, and she’s overwhelmed with the kind outcome.
Very interesting place, great vibe. Lovely to walk around the garden. The cafe is not always open so check before coming.
